Fulmer to Kiffin: Old guard, Tennessee way. Kiffin was young brash and from the west coast.

Kiffin to Dooley: Return to southern roots and values. Someone who values what it is to be in the SEC.

Dooley to Butch: This guy has built programs (from Brian Kelly). He “gets it”. Brings spice to recruiting.

Butch to Pruitt: not much to choose from, but we need defense. Also need a real coach, not just flash in the Pan smoke and mirrors.

He’s posting on VQ pretty regularly. He doesn’t think a change will happen this year unless we lose to Vandy. He also doesn’t think Fulmer makes the next HC hire.

Something I’ve been knocking around in my head: if Pruitt makes it to next year, Fulmer retires sometime over the summer so he doesn’t have to make the decision.

People declaring we can’t beat the UKs or whatever next year fail to realize that almost all our losses can be traced to horrific JG play.

If Shrout or Bailey show a pulse, then we’re gonna be a much much better team.

A solid qb easily flips 2 of those games and imo auburn is also very winnable if we had an average qb

Also this recruiting is terrible is killing me. We 4 starting Olineman that we’re 5 star guys and none are freshman. Our fr qb was a huge recruit. We have 4 star guys all over the defense. We just haven’t been able to put it all together.

The most likely reason being atrocious qb play has infected everything around it.
we forget games like end of first half at Georgia, multiple times at uk where the defense made huge stops. Only for the offense to completely let us down

We are a decent qb from 8-9 wins next year.

What’s this place going to be like Saturday around 7-730? Happy for a win? Upset for a close win? Or site shut down cause we lost and every member is trying to log on at once?

No way we lose this weekend. I can’t speak for everyone else, but I’m going to pissed if it’s a close win. A loss would be embarrassing, but Pruitt would probably not be allowed on the bus. That should be a big win for the programs future.

I like the optimism, but no.
We are losing 2 starters on the O line maybe 3 depending on Cade. We will be extremely young at receiver next year. Shrout is inconsistent as all get out, and Bailey while having huge potential, who knows if he will be ready. The D line is weak, even if Brooks is a beast we need a second pass rusher, Once again who is going to play beside HT next year? Secondary should be ok, but its been atrocious this year with a lot of experience, so not sure there's a reason to think things will improve.. Lastly, none of the above even matters if Pruitt cant get these guys to play like a team. Leadership and accountability needs to be fixed before anything schematically.
5-7 is most likely outcome maybe 6 wins. 3 OOC cupcakes, Pitt is a toss up, Vandy, SCAR.
