I love Tony, but can understand that he doesn't rub everyone the right way. His show is basically an audio message board, the vetting process for throwing rumors out there is much less stringent than WNML, so take everything with a grain of salt, but he gets some stuff right too. I simply can't stand listening to the company line at WNML. His post-game shows that go on into the middle of the night have been the best thing about Tennessee football the last 5 years.
You can either do some filtering, or you can listen to streams of unmitigated BS. I know which one I prefer.

I've always found it funny here on VN that people hate state-run media, but also can't stand Basilio. As you said Basilio, is basically if this message board was a radio show.

Actually i can’t even pawn this off on a Stephan A gif. This take is just...... sigh.

*clears throat*

TREY IS THE BEST PLAYER TO PLAY AT THIS UNIVERSITY SINCE ERIC BERRY. THE MAN HAS BATTLED BLOOD CLOTS AND MULTIPLE INJURIES AND SHOWED UP LIKE A COMPLETE WARRIOR. THE DUDE IS THE DEFINITION OF A BULLDOZER GUARD. OUR ENTIRE RUN SCHEME FOR MULTIPLE COACHING STAFFS AND THREE OFFENSIVE COORDINATORS HAS DIRECTLY REVOLVED AROUND HIM SINCE THE MOMMENT HE HAS STEPPED ON CAMPUS.

with love.
I’ll die on the Derek Barnett hill. Other than that, yeah.

I mean, Fulmer should give him a call to get Petersen to turn him down, but the guy resisted leaving Boise St. for years, and when he finally moves to a big program he's done in 5 years. I also tend to believe things Chris Petersen says more than I do Urban Meyer.
iirc it was more to do with family. His son had a medical condition and that’s why he didn’t wanna move around and stayed at boise. After his son recovered is when he took the Washington job. He wanted the USC job but they chose Sark over him

To be clear about what Basilio had on his blog, it sounds like he's saying that Pruitt knows he's in trouble, and he is pitching staff overhaul to get him another year. It's the classic pattern of a coaching death spiral that throws good money after bad, and I hope we don't fall for it.

Why does Pruitt still want to be here? The way he's acted and the things he's done over the past 2 months says otherwise.

(I'm not necessarily asking you. It just doesn't make sense. The guy looks miserable)

Pruitt has no one to blame but himself on the defensive side. That's his defense.

I know @Atlanta VOL was involved, somehow, on the Chaney hire. I'd love to know if Pruitt truly wanted to hire him or not. If he didn't, Pruitt could rightly say "you stuck me with this guy I didn't want and here we are." I'm skeptical that's the case, though.

If our administration keeps Pruitt and let’s him hire a whole new staff AGAIN then I do not ever want to hear that they know what they are doing. You will be adding an additional 5-8 million in buyouts because no one will come here without multi year contracts. We would be going from $20 to $25 million in buyouts easily. And then push us further behind our rivals by giving Pruitt another year. This is why I see no way that they keep Pruitt and he is gone after ESD. If not, go ahead and burn Neyland to the ground. No one will be in the stands anyways.

I want them to CLEAN HOUSE. Except for Jay and Tee. Tell everybody else to kick rocks. So tired of what we do for this university to be bottom dwellers, and for ANYONE on here to say we aren’t is delusional at best.

We have to have a Win first mind set like Fl, Ga, Bama but we don’t. Fans and loyalists are jumping ship and the higher ups are not gonna do a damn thing. There, I said it.

Damn where’s my ***** COFFEE
WRs do not get separation, RBs can’t pass block, Special Teams are terrible. This whole staff needs to be gone.

He also mentioned that the Haslams were in town last night at the bball game 👁

Atlanta said it was a no go...@de1conley showed me otherwise before the announcement.
