I don't feel like quoting every post I'll respond to, so I'll just go point-by-point.
1) If someone has an avatar of a stripper, girl in a bikini, or whatever else, it's a reflection on them and them alone.2) My own username title (Throbbing Member) was a play on the fact that it was originally "member". Notice my own avatar is my dog, who I most certainly am not aroused by.
3) If Layla Kiffin were a public figure in her own right (actress, singer, whatever) it would be one thing. But she's not; she's the wife of the head coach and, from what I can gather, that's about it. I know if I were in Kiffin's shoes and there were threads (and a website) started about my wife by fans of the team I'm coaching, I'd be looking for a plane out of town in a hurry.
In the meantime, here's some reading material for you that involves another recent female internet celebrity.

LOL. Yet another waste of cyberspace.Maybe it's just me, but I've grown REALLY tired of seeing anything about Layla Kiffin.
She's not in any way involved in recruiting, in getting a group of coaches together, in forming an offensive or defensive system, or in gameday decisions.
All this talk about how she looks or anything else like that is both ridiculous and more than a bit trashy. We pride ourselves on knowing a thing or two about the game of football and being at least semi-intelligent fans, and yet there's just been comment after comment (after thread) about her.
So let's all give it a rest and encourage our fellow UT fans (who aren't on here) to do likewise. Leave the horndog crap to Bammers.

Not to mention they have 2 small girls who are probably uneasy trying to settle in a new city and their mom is getting all this attention. It is time to show some class and respect! Welcome to Knoxville Kiffin family

What fantasy world do you live in where a thread on a message board about a coach's wife being hot scares him away? Seriously?? If Lane Kiffin is forming his opinion of the entire UT fanbase based on a few off-color posts then he has no business being a coach here. Geez, get over it. Making a play on words about "throbbing member" is fine but commenting on someone's looks isn't? I'd say that your play on words is much more vulgar and perverted. Luckily, I don't give sh**.
She was at the press conference taking pictures! I'm sure she knows that she's in the public eye. Her dad played professionally and her brother coaches. I'm sure she can handle it. Since when is a comment about looks an invasion of someone's privacy?
She has chosen to be a public figure. Those pictures of her holding her girls were part of a Bay Area newspaper article specifically on her. I'm not saying she's all about the attention, but she did agree participate in the article.
Bottomline, at 8 months pregnant...... I'd smash.
Sorry if good looking women offend you. Personally I'd much rather look at a hot azz than a dog, football player what have you. But thats just a reflection on me. I like women :hi:
please, spare me. surely somebody trying to act as high and mighty about this as you would realize the fact that "throbbing member" can easily be construed as a sexual innuendo. in fact, i fail to see how it can be anything but, and i certainly fail to make the connection between throbbing being a play on the fact that it used to say member.
bottom line, this is the internet. this is what happens on teh interwebs everyday and you have a right to not like and express your opinion as such. likewise, others have the right to post pictures of and discuss what they would do to said subject. you can leave the or ignore the thread.
fact is, i belong to a half dozen or so sports and music message boards and this has been the subject of debate on every single one.
like it or not, in this day and age a coach's wife IS a public figure and is subject to the same treatment as any other public figure. you have to take the good with the bad.
Your story would almost hold water if Crompton was a professional. Almost.

I guess its wrong to comment on his play in a game too then? Because he's not professional?
He's on scholarship, he knows he's going to be in the papers the next day after a game, whether its as hero or goat. It comes with the territory.
If Kiffin had been here for several years, and she was on the radio and tv frequently and appeared not to mind the attention, I would feel differently. It doesn't seem to me it was their choice to be in the public eye though. They are just trying to be supportive of their spouse.
I think it would reflect better on the fans not to comment on her at first. I don't have a huge problem with it though.
