Good coaches inspire better out of their teams. Bad coaches let this stuff happen and don't even think twice about it.
Yeah, he seems like a good kid. I made mention in a post that when Calbert went down, JG was out there to check on him and encourage him. He's just not a player, and that's where the frustration kicks in.The JG hate speaks for itself at this point. No reason to keep pouring it on.
He wasn't the answer. I've heard Basilio talk about how he's a great teammate and may actually have a future as a coach someday.
He gave as much as he had to this program. I will personally be rooting for him.
I cant tell who it is, but I believe its Brandon Johnson, the receiver closest to the line. IMO is most likely the "hot" read he's got to notice the guy lining up on the DE's hip and notice he didn't drop back. He then needs to understand he is the hot and get his head back around for the ball. The safety is way off the ball and there's an easy 6-7 yard gain there. If I remember correctly this was a 3rd and long play, and Pruitt said he would've like to have gone for it if we hadn't gotten sacked. Chaney may not coach it this way and I could be way off, but from the reading/learning etc ive done this is what makes most sense imo. But it still doesn't excuse the actions of the O line or Jahmir failing miserably on his job which is take the most dangerous man aka the inside guy.
Completely agreed O line got whipped on that play. But its never a sack if BJ and HB communicate properly.Agreed on Johnson. It wouldn't have mattered if JJ took inside guy or not imo. Wright got worked and pushed right into HB and Cooper should be glad Cade was in position. His guy blew right by. It's just awful all the way around. The reaction after is just ridiculous

Exactly. Left him there every time.
