I guess I have a different definition of choking. Lost to a team that went 16-4 in the Big Ten by a phantom foul. And if you consider it our best team ever...it was because of Barnes and not in spite of him.

Vols were ranked #1 in the nation for a month that year and didnt make an elite 8. That’s choking in my opinion. Barnes also has a history of coming up short in the NCAA tourney with those Texas teams. Not saying he’s not a good coach, just calling it like I see it.

The next time there is a season with a full crowd available, I will be taking my 10 year old son again. He loves football and doesn't want to lose, but he loves going in the first place regardless.

I cant blame anybody that chooses to go with this reasoning. Spending time with family is way more important than wins and losses.

We can hire a defensive guy as long as he hires an innovative OC and doesn’t stick his nose into that side of the ball except for when to slow it down, pick up the pace or whether to go for it on 4th down ect...

I think Richt or Phil could bring stability and hit the 8 win mark fairly quickly. I wouldn't love Les, but id be interested to see how he recruited. Any of the 3 are better options than the Gump.
