It didn't affect him because it was Oxford, MS and he won enough there so it didn't matter. And I don't care about coaches tweeting too much...it is the searching for your name and responding to random people who said stuff about you that I find to be nuts.

He's going to be excessively scrutinized here, especially if he doesn't win quite enough. He's got to grow a little thicker skin and not care as much what people think about him.

We literally just saw 2 QBs step in vs a top 5 team in the country and hold their own. These coaches are one-up’ing Butch and his pass on TL. Shrout has been on campus 3 years and Bailey damn near 12 months and yet!!!! “JG gives us our best chance to win.”

This makes sense. They just haven't had time to coach the other guys down yet. Give it time and they'll suck it up real good.

I'll never forget that play where he destroyed his knee. Got hit, fumbled the ball into the end zone just as he was about to score a go-ahead TD against Auburn if memory serves.

The eruption of vitriol is because we aren't even coming close to winning football games in year 3 of a failed era. In fact, we look dysfunctional at nearly every aspect of the game. We have watched this dysfunction for 10+ years and are getting incredibly frustrated when we hear BS excuses to keep Pruitt, especially when nobody believes he will have any success here. Apathy is at an all time high.

Recruiting is not where it needs to be for UT to win big. Lewis and McGhee are gone and LB/CB are very high needs of ours right now. We had legitimate chances to land any of Mims, Mondon, TID, or Green but all went to UGA because our staff is putrid.

However, his tweeting kind of got him in trouble. We keep talking about staying off social media.

He openly challenged people to call in reports of cheating after his great class. Then, he blamed Houston Nutt for the NCAA investigation, which caused Nutt's attorney to dig deeper and get Freeze fired. Dumb, dumb decisions, especially when you are ACTUALLY cheating. Why bring it on yourself? Makes me question anything he does off the field.

If UT somehow ever decided to hire him, I would put a clause in his contract that a staff member will be responsible for his social media posts.

I believe someone tagged him in a reply, and the OP was a previous student when he was at Briarcrest. I could be wayyyyyy off base though.

Knoxville isn’t some raging metropolis. A story in Mississippi gets as much clicks as anywhere else. You act like this broke at Alcorn State. As far as searching for your own name on social media? I don’t see the odd. Maybe the fallout overreaction will let him know not to reach out. Win dummies! Worry about screen usage after he retires!

If we lose to candy and a&m.... MAYBE they will fire pruitt. If they don't hire a legit coach I'm just gonna switch teams. **** it dude.
