He said he’s from Caryville in Campbell County, 30 miles north of Knoxville.

I would have bet a lot of money that Fuente, Herman, and Harbaugh would have been home run hires.

Point being.. I'm not going to raise hell if we hire another "McGoogle" coach. What do I know. I'm going to give anybody a chance. I just really hope it is someone who has a great offensive mind.

But you miss 100% of the coaching hires you can't make because Beldar is still here.

Feel like we've done that to death... This is not specific to chadwell...

I mean the only way to strike gold is to dig where no one else has, so to speak.

We could hire Gus Malzahn when he gets fired. He fits your requirement perfectly. Would that really be more exciting than an up and comer? Hugh Freeze fits the bill, but obviously has a ton of red flags.. Not the least of which is that his record at Ole Miss is not great and gets sort of glossed over.

Who is your go to established coach you would bring in?

I agree, but if this is the case we don’t need him. The last thing we need is him having to work with people he doesn’t know or isn’t comfortable with. That’s a recipe for disaster.

Not dumb at all. If he was interested he would be at the top of the list. Doubt he wants to get back into college coaching for a perceived rebuild in the SEC.

We can draw a good offensive coach. This isn’t a total rebuild. There’s good pieces on offense. I would want to coach Gray and Bailey, Junior linemen should be talented. Shrout gets a new lease on life too. And Jeremy Banks could take his rightful place as RB2. Could be a good situation.
