I'd like to think if he was going to be fired, we'd already have his replacement in the bag. But I'd also be a fool to believe that since I've seen this movie before. If Fulmer somehow pulled the trigger, we'd throw crumbs at a group of basic cable coaches and take the first one who would bite.

It takes a certain number of replies to break a thread on VolNation. This thread will break before our abysmal athletic dept fires this incompetent coach. They should expect a record number of non-renewals on season tickets.

I suggest you avert your eyes from Tennessee football for the next 12 months. Check in then and see if we’re serious about winning.

One thing I've learned the past few years about social media, even sites such as this, are that they have influence far out of proportion to the number of messengers. One tweet can make or break a person. Stuff can be posted here, thrown around the echo chamber of freelance sports bloggers, get picked up by a major sports opinion influencer like Clay Travis or Finebaum, and wind up rattling around inside skull of someone who actually gets a say in what's happening. We have a whole generation that now values their online persona more than their real lives. Not saying that's right, it's just the world we live in. The best thing people can do if they're pissed is to pile on and don't let up.

No, next November. It would be the best bitch the AD can pull off. We won’t do it this year and stop the bleeding, we will lose a recruiting class next year after sucking and firing Pruitt and Hiring another coordinator.

If Freeze wants the job, get it done. If not, I can’t imagine another 2 month coaching search where we end up with another middle of the road coach again.

If the University doesn't have someone lined up (FREEZE) then it is pointless to fire Pruitt.
