Run, run, pass play calling was back again today. Also they did a very poor job of attacking Florida in their secondary on plays down the field. They coach to keep it close, not to win. Clock management was atrocious. Pruitt has been able to put the blame on Butch’s old recruits but when it mattered today his own recruits are the ones underperforming. UT also came out of the half once again not making adjustments and uninspired. I like the guy but it seems like we have been sold fools gold.

We were a good team and ALWAYS had a chance. Knowing a week before the game we basically have no chance at all and betting on how bad they will beat us, is NOT the same..

I can't believe this is even an argument...

What did spurrier say? “Get me to the 4th quarter and I’ll out coach him.” A lot more times than not that very scenario played out. Even with the vaunted manning at quarterback.

I never said they haven't or don't have our number. All I'm saying is there is literally no hope now, where once upon a time there was.. There's a difference. You at least get excited for the game and want to watch it knowing you have a legitimate chance.

I don't feel that way about ANY game now. I have never felt that way in almost 50 years of watching the Vols.. It's a new thing for me...

I’ve felt that way for a while now. We’ve had brief revivals but mostly it’s been a comedy of errors. We need a clean slate to put things in order. This staff has no shot at keeping their ship afloat.

Don’t be so sure, the expectation when Pruitt was hired was to be winning games against UGA and Florida by year 3. If you shifted the goal post during that time to say we shouldn’t be mad at losing to Florida because that was expected then that is simply your point of view. Boosters and many others expect to be very competitive against our main rivals in which we have made zero progress.

I agree. The only time I get loud is when I'm watching the games. Good play, bad play, holler at the TV stuff. I don't even do that anymore. I find myself laughing at the game because as you say, it's a comedy........ of errors...

MIT Beaver, can you confirm if anyone or any group representing UT has reached out to Freeze or checked with the SEC commissioner to see if he would be allowed back in as a head coach if we were to part with Pruitt? That should be step 1 if Freeze is a target correct?

Every morning I wake up the last few weeks hoping to see Fulmer finally grew some balls and fired Pruitt. And every single morning I am disappointed. I hope the boosters will fork over a lot of money to help pay for his buyout. One can only hope and pray.

Don’t know for a fact but I can tell you I would be absolutely shocked if some of the people (boosters/UTAD) haven’t called Freeze informally to gauge interest. I know there is lots of anger for Pruitt and those people aren’t the types to sit idly and not problem solve.
