This may have already been posted, but four of the five SEC coaches that Jeremy Pruitt beat last season have since been fired. The only one who hasn't been fired, Stoops, beat us by four touchdowns in Neyland this season.

I'll list a few just for Pruitt.. Not all are game related but IMO, dumb nonetheless...
1. Announcing two of his QBs are hurt but later putting both of them in the game and the one with a supposed torn labrum plays very well. This makes Pruitt look stupid and like he doesn't know what he's doing..
2. Having UF re'kick after a penalty on a kickoff. He could've had the ball on the 30 but instead we try and return the re'kick and end up on the 18 yd line.. IMO, football 101 dumb...
3. His post game press conference. Surely I don't need to go into detail on that one..

Has JP signed the new contract yet?Because of covid, and the coaches taking lower salaries, I remember reading he hadn’t signed it yet because it would give him a raise. So instead he was holding off/keeping the lower of the two salaries instead of signing/and then taking some off his new salary.

I thought the offensive playcalling stunk, I thought we made a mistake after holding them to 3 and out consecutive times we went back to dropping 8 in zone and got picked apart, I didn't think we blitzed enough. I couldn't believe one of the 1st 2 plays wasn't play action. We played a bunch of young guys and did some really good things on both sides of the ball.

Does the fact our extremely talented oline let several people run right by them today not concern you? Or how about 8th game in a row we were eaten up by simple slant passes? Yeah there were good things maybe, but they are abosuletly more bad things.

So exactly 1 thing that cost us 13 yards early in the game is it? The other 2 don't mean anything at all.

Our line had to start a true Fr at center because of Covid I can only assume. The 2 guys that beat us on slant plays beat everyone they face with them. Their playmakers made plays, ours didn't.

Just stop making excuses for Pruitt. The defense sucks. We had to use multiple timeouts once again on defense because we cant line up. We haven't stopped a slant all year and once again no adjustments to stop one. The offensive game plan was horrific. And the mismanagement of the QB position is atrocious, a kindergartner could do better. The defense also cant tackle or catch. Offensively our receivers don't get open and we are extremely predictable. Pruitt is in over his head and needs to go. How someone who claims to be a VOL fan can carry water for him is asinine.

Just lame excuses. It's on the coaches and it's just clear as day at this point. Our players didn't execute because they aren't properly coached to do so. The only "well that on the player" was the dropped pass on the fake punt.

An extremely small sample of Pruitt's decisions/actions that reflect his body of work over the last three years. That which is known as Tennessee football which is bad and has gotten worse over his three years. IMO opinion, he's a decent man, a good maybe great defnsive coordinator but he is not a good head coach.

Take it however you like..

Fulmer will not fire Pruitt. The UT admin and boosters may overrule Fulmer though. Just an opinion I hope comes to fruition.

1)Fulmer hired him. Firing him would be admitting failure on both their parts
2) Fulmer is a SEC traditionalist. Meaning despite obviously hating losing, he and Pruitt fundamentally agree on how to be a HC in the SEC...Press the running game, control possessions, play great defense....In other words, he genuinely believes in him.

Not even a 1% chance he fires him this season.
In fact, we could be below average next season and Fulmer wont fire him.

We'll either have to be at least this bad next season or Fulmer fired for Pruitt to be dismissed after next season

The debate was about today's game, why did you change the subject to his overall body of work? What did he do poorly TODAY was the question.

Dude, our issues covering the slant didn’t start tonight. Our secondary looks lost, our defensive line gets no pass rush, our linebackers can’t cover, why haven’t we developed a QB, why has our talented offensive line regressed, why does our play calling suck, why can’t Pruitt manage the clock. Several of the issues with this team are systemic and indicative of a team that’s poorly coached. Take off the orange ray bans.

Yep, so that's it, it was the loss? That's all you can say, bet that was a tough one to come up with Cpt Obvious. Coaching didn't lose the game today, the better team played mistake free football, were bigger faster and stronger with better players.

Most of what I was talking about was from today’s game. I also indicated that those issues are repetitive and indicate a systemic issue. Get your head out Pruitts azz and learn some reading comprehension.
