Nope. You claim I said something about him being successful.Well lets see, if Pruitt is a genius and gets the knowledge to transfer, that must mean he's successful. So either 1 he isn't a genius or 2 he doesn't know how to coach what he sees. Reasoning must be hard for you.
Honestly thought shrout was the better qb. Seemed to command the offense better.
Not what your post insinuated but I digress.Nope. You claim I said something about him being successful.
I think he understands football. I think he can’t develop players. I think he will eventually figure out how to develop players. But that does not mean or equate to successful.
I think he actually is getting in his own way too much. I think he is too controlling.
I think he is frankly over his head and won’t be successful at Tennessee. I would be shocked.
Shrout wasn't playing the second team. UF was playing a softer defense but their starters were still in there. He was playing the 2nd string D and he got the opportunity to sling it the whole time he was in there unlike the playing calling with Bailey. I believe part of that could be Shrout was more familiar with the playbook haven been here longer. Don't get me wrong he did play good but its a bit different when you take over in the 4th qt behind by a butt load of points than in regular playing time in the first half.

Same guys spouting this previously declared that Shrout wasn’t the answer after Kentucky. Maurer after Auburn...etc. That quick hook’s been missing from Pruitt all season. Now we know who stole it.Explain why Bailey isn’t the answer? Outside of his missed deep balls? His first game starting against the #6 team in the nation..... oh and btw the announcers even commented on how bad play calling was after multiple unsuccessful attempts at the same play over and over again.....
His receivers were barely open all game and he was forced into 3rd down passing situations after the staff constantly ran the ball on first and second down putting us in those passing downs.
On top of that our O-line was allowing untouched blitzes up the middle allowing 0 time to throw.
Btw he never turned the ball over.
Most coaches whose butt is on a hot seat would try to smooth over or be more understanding since he is setting so many records that are all bad but I believe he knows. I don't think he has the maturity to be a HC. He sounds like a spoiled brat.
You just don't want anyone to have a different opinion from you. No one is insulting you or anything, but people are trying to give you their opinions as to why you may be wrong. Shrout playing when UF had stopped doesn't really convince me. Obviously no ones points are convincing you either.Be careful, some people on this board don’t allow differing opinions
Les Miles:Hell no on Miles. We don't have the talent he had at LSU and he's proven he can't rebuild. Richt is intresting, but no again couldn't win with the talent he had at UGA how could he at TN?

He's an upgrade over BeamerSC want Chadwell after tonight’s game - they don’t seem too excited about Beamer.
I like Gus I think he would be a fine higher. But I question the other two mainly because of talent. TN doesn't have the talent of either of the other schoolsLes Miles: View attachment 328293

That's the proof I've got that they were both successful head coaches in the SEC. I'm not saying either one would be homerun hires here but they've both won several games in the SEC and never had a losing season in the SEC. That was my original argument for either one of them.
Hugh Freeze is the least proven SEC head coach on my list. So it's an easy argument for the ones that don't like him or just want to argue.
*I would also be happy with Gus Malzahn, if he becomes available this year. He's never had a losing season either.
