It’s a crapshoot who’s going to be successful anyway. I like the energy coastal played with (this game).

I'm so tired if watching this crap. I wish I had a switch I could flip that eliminates all desire to follow Tennessee football. Don't want to read about it, listen, watch or commiserate on a message board, a total blackout. No offense to all of you fellow fans on here it's a great place. When I'm at work or the gym or grocery store and someone mentions a Tennessee player doing this or that I have no idea who they're talking about. I'm exhausted with it and in no way is it worth following anymore.
How are we able to read this?

Sitting here thinking about Fulmer making another coaching hire, I realize he has never made a good hire in football. When he won it was with Johnny’s coaches, Cut leaves he promoted Sanders. Cut gets fired and comes back to Tennessee and helps preserve Fulmer. Cut gets hired by Duke and Fulmer hires Clawson instead of the Michigan OC and that was his demise. The next hire he makes was Pruitt, we are probably in trouble.

Do you not think Bailey would have had a better game today if he had played against Arkansas and Auburn.
Does the playcalling get no blame? Does running it on first and second down then getting put in a third a long have any influence on QB play? Still don't understand the point of bringing in Shrout when UF goes to soft coverage and starts rushing 3 and 4. Bailey did fine and executed the horrible gameplan we had.

A lot better chance of leading us to 25 points if not making first start against #6 and having a completely vanilla gameplan.
The craziest part to me is they have had numerous bye weeks and we continue to see the same vanilla offense. Is this an F U from Chaney to Pruitt? Is this Pruitt interfering with the offense? All I know is you can’t beat anyone with this offense. It’s the worst in football.

I don't really get the hate for mid-major/G5 guys just because they are at G5 schools. If you can coach you can coach. Undefeated seasons are impressive at any level. Osovet hasn't done a damn thing as an OC at the entire FBS level, yet some who would hate a G5 HC hire, would love to see that OC experiment.

Amen. This fanbase’s definition on what is actually “proven” has been completely distorted and severely lowered based on our mediocrity. I believe the AD has finally succeeded in getting the fanbase to lower their standards.

This seems to be hard for most people (myself included until recently) to grasp but I’ll say it again: we are that level. The Tennessee way is to hire cheap or hire in house. That’s it. We have never pulled a Mel Moore and we won’t. The admin has made it clear they’d rather be Vandy than Bama. If they did just a little bit of homework they’d see how winning has elevated Bama in every area possible. But that’s not us. We got lucky with the 90’s and early 2000’s.

Yeah, guys have to start somewhere. Urban was at Bowling Green, Saban was a HC at Toledo.

Even this season, Drinkwitz is doing well at Mizzou after being at App St.

Sanders was good coach.
