I honestly can't see a single way you could defend Pruitt at this point. We just need to count down the days. This year 3 team of a supposed defensive genius of a head gump, I mean coach, looked like a bunch of true freshman making their first start. The secondary was lost and the worst performance I think I've seen in 20yrs. The D line got zero pressure and just looked like the fat kids in pee-wee that just pretend to show effort... Special teams looked D-ll at best. Play calling was pathetic AS USUAL. Pruitt lied about the other QB's. He pulled Bailey in his first start when he hadn't really even done anything wrong or create a turnover. He played 3 QB's at the end of the season. This idiot has been playing JG this entire season over these 3 clearly better QBs.
This guy is a joke at this point and no one should have his back.

If Shrout never enters the game HB has over 200 and another TD and you’re not making this comment. You’ve sat through 5 years of JG and still miserable with a true freshman making his first start vs a top 6 team. Shrout was in garbage time when they were playing prevent. Go moan somewhere else.

I don’t. I don’t remember your vote, but plenty said it the past two weeks. If that was a certainty, we would’ve seen him today.

Then let's see them PROVE IT. Go out and perform better than the other starters in Q1-Q3...

Maurer hasn't, HB hasn't, Shrout hasn't, JG hasn't, Chryst hasn't.

Maybe it's the coaches and scheme...???

Come on.

Make Matt Campbell, Hugh Freeze, Tom Herman, Jamey Chadwell, or Billy Napier an offer to get this crew out of here. This year's recruiting class isn't worth holding onto this staff. Next year's in state class can make up for this class IF you have a new coach who'll be better than this garbage of a staff we're seeing currently.

Campbell: Can probably name his price is probably going to Michigan if offered unless he finally goes to the NFL.
Hugh: Wants an SEC job. If not UT this year, watch him end up at Auburn within 3 years.
Herman: Did all he could today to not get blow out at Texas, but if they really have Urban on the line, Herman is gone. It's worked out well the last time Tennessee took a fired Texas coach.
Chadwell: He's flashing his resume on national TV now. Crazy to think that Chadwell might end up with a better record against BYU than Pruitt. Who would have thought that starting the season in 2019?
Napier: He's going to get a SEC or ACC offer soon enough. At least he has a background on offense.

Can we though? I think we’ve become too big for our proverbial britches... we’ve got everything to win but our admin has proven time and time again they don’t care about winning in anything except math decathlon’s and agriculture tractor pulls...

Again, we threw 3 passes downfield the entire game with Bailey. One the WR gave zero effort and the other two were to our slot receiver. I dont understand the Bailey hate. Did you not see the playcalling and situations he was put in? You saw three passes from Bailey downfield your entire life and think that he can't throw downfield. He can throw deep just as well as anyone else.

Why wait till you play the 2nd best team on your schedule to start him? He should have already been playing and not stuck in against UF with a vanilla gameplan.

HB actually has attributes of a QB. How many times have you seen JG go through progressions and not stare down a receiver? How many times have you seen JG actually move in the pocket? How many times would JG have fumbled on those sacks? There is no doubt in my mind had we started HB form the the UK game we would be in better shape record wise. Did HB look like an all American? No. But you’re griping a about a kid who plays for a trash team with no defense and not an ounce of good coaching. Not to mention he’s a freshman. JG is a 5th year senior who reads a defense like Helen Keller.

Chad well doesn't have an offense that will work in the SEC. Herman is a coordinator at best.

Pruitt said post-game the reason he didn't play was he hadn't practice in 13 days. Pruitt also talked about playing the guy who did certain things the best in practice. That doesn't sound like a coach who is ready to hang JG up
