Anyone who thinks Mullen didn’t sandbag is kidding themselves. They could have scored fifty easily and took their foot off the gas. They were not worried at all about us coming back to win. They just sat back in the fourth quarter and let everything come to them.

They have them thinking too much imo...just look at the play of Alontae that was floated in the flat that should've been a pick 6. I feel he broke too late and barely got fingers on it. None of these Dbs just play. Slow play every game

If we make a new hire it better be someone with previous success in the SEC.

I don’t give af about what Matt Campbell has done at Iowa State, or how successful of a year Jamey Chadwell has had in the sun belt. Miss me with all that. No more group of 5 up and comers that have never coached big boy ball before. We tried that once already

Just gotta settle in with his long passes imo and he'll be fine years down the road. Pass Pro still stinks, no matter how much the blind thought it was on the QB. Just not good.

Shrout also had quite a few plays where he could have cooked some rice while going through his reads. I like Shrouts potential a ton, I just wish he could have gotten some more important reps at some point this season

Happened in middle of 3rd quarter. He decided to try to work on their run game. We stopped them twice. He knew we could not come back. We were reeling on defense. They could have thrown every time and score at least two more TDs

Mullen did sandbag to an extent. Don’t get me wrong they could have probably makes the score but at the same time they did go for it on 4th and miss it and didn’t run the ball for crap. We could have picked off probably three passes and did sack Trask more than most teams. Still they were the much better team and totally in control.

Truth. The game plan nearly worked defensively. Credit to them for something that at least partially frustrated UF.

You just can't have 24 yards in the 1st quarter and 114 yards TOTAL in the first half.

Sucks, but for once it seems playing Shrout/JG/Maurer may have given us a chance. We had the deep passes available, but not the QB to deliver.

This is a really dumb take. Matt Campbell is winning the Big 12 this year at Iowa freaking state.

I'll tell you, it is refreshing to see this recruiting class all in and even though its a talent increase in some crucial areas, its not gonna matter.
