But he didn’t say when he came back. Just a generic “this week”. EG mentioned in his interview that they hoped to get the guys who were quarantined back today. So who knows.

None of this will happen and we know it. He is 108 points worse than Dooley through 3 years and about to be a lot worse.

There are SO many issues beyond QB. We aren't 5-2 with a decent QB because our defense is bad, OL/RB pass blocking is porous, schemes are poor. He's simply not a good HC.

I agree about Freeze. I also agree that we have more issues. But I disagree that we wouldn’t have a shot at 5-2 with QB. We haven’t lost to anyone any good outside of Bama and UGa, and UGA isn’t that good.

We have some real pieces coming in at RB, we have young talent on the DL and OLB either here or coming. 8-4 is not outside possibility if HB is really good or if we bring in a transfer who is good. I don’t think this will happen, but it’s possible

I appreciate the optimism. This is year 3, does anyone besides EG look like they have improved? Maybe you can blame COVID, but I think that is wishful thinking. I would expect with all the bye weeks our team would look better prepared.

No they don’t. I haven’t seen much development at all. That’s why I don’t think the scenario is that likely.

Siap...I'd put us at +5 W's, at least, the past two seasons with competent QB play.

Doesn't excuse everything else... But the QB is a BIG part of the equation, in terms of how/why we've lost games... Especially the ones we think we're "should win" type games.

No they don’t. I haven’t seen much development at all. That’s why I don’t think the scenario is that likely.

Again, siap... You can't discount the affect this off season NOT happening had on this team. Given that the core talent base is fr and so, missing THIS off season was a big deal.

It's also a big deal how poorly we've handled things as a result... Tough duty for a first time hc and ad.....

Put those together... Well..... This is what you get.

So I won't go so far as to say it's a throw away because of covid... But it wasn't normal....

I fully believe had we gotten a normal off season, had a legit QB competition and played our original 20 schedule... Things would look entirely different for us today.

Again, that doesn't mean all is excused. But this was a bad year for this roster not to get the year 1 to year 2 development.. And for the fr to get none whatsoever.

So for all those reasons I think Pruitt is back, we'll see some more staff changes and he'll have the opportunity to get it together.

I do think the clock is ticking tho.
