Had a bolt break off in part of one of the machines that's a nightmare to get to, much less get it out. Usually have to take a bubch of stuff off to get to it, like half a day job. I took a pry bar, screwdriver, hammer, and needle nose pliers, and BOOM! 25 minutes later, had it running!

I get money rules, but what are they gonna do when it's 60 people? It's business I guess, and they're a $ business, they make it. I know it's a factory, but it's different than any other around here anyway. They make millions in profit, but they do pay double to triple what similar places do. It wouldn't take one meeting, and you'd know😂

So many folks, from individuals to businesses to cities to states to you-know-who, fingers in ears going la-la-la. No one likes lockdowns and the rest, but we saw in the spring and early summer that dialing things back did slow it down.

What I’m worried about now is how it’s hitting small-town America with much smaller hospitals. NYC healthcare nearly drowned in the spring. I fear that the same thing will happen, fewer patients but many, many more hospitals and communities, this time around. ☹️

— The vaccines should be widely available to the general public by April or so. If we can just “act like we got some sense,” as my MIL always says, maybe more lives can be spared in the meantime.

Truth! I've tried every kind out there! Not for corona, when cleaning off a machine, tons of dust. There's not a mask I've used that doesn't fog up your safety glasses so bad you can't see!

I’ve gotten to where I don’t even realize that the mask is on, EXCEPT when it creeps upward and hits my lower eyelashes. That drives me nuts! And since I avoid touching the area over my mouth and nose, all I can do is tug on the edge below my chin and the edge with the bendy strip over the bridge of my nose. Aaarrrgghh! (We wear the blue paper disposable procedural masks.) I’ve just decided to regard the fogging as a Thing that goes away eventually.

PS - check out Staples for good prices on the blue masks. Watch for the sales.

Yep. The 25 years I wore safety glasses (without a mask) I never had a pair that didn't fog. This includes the glasses with the fold out safety wings and goggles. Fogged glasses pose a serious safety issue with your digits, fosho.

A thought: have you tried taping the top of the mask to your skin using that white non-ouchy bandage tape? If nothing else, you’d get a better seal.
