Which QB is out this weekend due to Covid tracing?

Some rumors that JG is the one that's not been there BUT it had nothing to do with Covid issues. Some weird stuff going on....

From what I understand, JG will be out with contact tracing until at least Friday. HB will most likely get the start but don't be too surprised if Shrout does. Again, I anticipate HB to start but Shrout continues to do what the coaches want in practice (but we all know how that goes)

I'm not going to say that if JG doesn't play. If HB got a full week and they have a good, limited passing game plan for him then UT could cause UF's D some problems.

I saw some things in HB that I like and believe you can build on. He pulls the trigger with confidence. He seems to have good field awareness and finds receivers. He has a sense of throwing receivers open. He's not afraid to push into a tight window. Give him a week and some coaching then match that with a favorable game plan... and that might be enough to keep running lanes open for the OL and RB's.

If UT can run the ball and have a complimentary passing game then that may change the dynamic of the game. The best way to compensate for what UF is likely to do to UT's D... is keep them off the field and score TD's on long drives.

Could be. But state and local officials usually take time to filter those changes out to the public. Some states and local governments will choose not to change.

Most likely scenario is that Pruitt starts JG even after he has been in quarantine and unable to practice for two weeks. Then trots Bailey out for the last 6 minutes for the 4th quarter handoff offense, to run the clock out, and then blames the lack of offense on JG not being able to practice because of contact tracing.

Bailey literally needs to throw for 2 touchdowns and 200+ yards and he will surpass JG for good.

If it's Bailey then I'm sorry, but I still hold this staff responsible for not starting someone else other than JG.

If's its Mauer or Shrout I can't say that it will make much difference.

Anyone have any indication who it might be?
