Exactly. I think they are looking for a homerun. They also offered Saban a blank check. I think they will do the same for Urban. Honestly, I would rather have Mack Brown. They made a mistake letting go of him and now look what he's done at NC.

When did i ever guarantee he was coming the first time? Please show me. Lol sorry your same excuses are getting played out with these lame coaches you latch on to. Pruitt will be fired if he goes 0-3 lol.

I wonder if this was changed with the extension and I also wonder if there were protections for Tenn put in if he left for Bama

I know it’s laughable now but when the extension was given fulmer needed to make it tougher on Pruitt to leave for bama.

I’m betting this was two way deal and fulmer gambled and lost

technically he hasn't lost. he is sitll the coach, and working as the coach. until he's getting UTK checks in the mail while grading film in losertown, SEC state, we're still winning...contracturally that is.....

Herman has had a better record the past 4 years than Brown did his last 4. You also have the 3 horrible Charlie Strong years in between.

Well they make it sound very difficult. My untrained eyes imparted the wrong information that the running backs ran perfectly fine behind both Maurer and Bailey. Almost like they were lined up.

This post stinks. He should try and beat Vandy, Florida, or A&M by starting the best QB on our team. Then he should try and win a few games next year, which is not too hard looking at the bottom of the SECe.

No offense to anybody because I’m a fan with no connections and no pull/clout. My opinions are crappy at best and my speculation is lacking. But I don’t believe any of y’all. Too many versions from too many sources. I know this cuts you deeply that a nameless, faceless, random person doubts the “inside” info, but please understand I appreciate the entertainment value just as much as if it were actual fact.
I don’t doubt the connections nor the intentions. Those are genuine. There are just too many angles. Maybe they are all the same stories from different perspectives. Either way:
