What's even crazier is how good that 2010 class was (mostly Lane guys).

3 NFL pro-bowl OL guys, Bray, Hunter, Da'Rick, Neal, Rivera all in that class which ended up 7th despite us also having a Punter & Kicker in it. That class would have been the footprint for Lane's era to really take off.
Hunter and Darick were both Dooley recruits.

Not meant as one of those “notice me on my way out” posts. But I really think we’re on the precipice of losing the only constant we’ve ever had - the fanbase.

Letting Pruitt flame out is such a stupid move.
The only thing I think may keep some engaged is the basketball program. I’m with you. I’m hurt. Deep down in me plums, I’m hurt.

Even though I'm blocked...

I didn't know if it was getting older with two kids or apathy from this decade but its turned from "The most important nonimportant thing in the world" to "if I can watch, I'll watch but I'm not setting my schedule for it"

It's sad. I have a journalism degree and would never even consider going into it as a profession. When I started college, it was still a viable career option, then the recession happened and newspapers started folding left and right.
Heh heh, folding newspaper

Guys...... Derek Mason had a losing record against every SEC team except.........

Tennessee, in which he was 3-3.

This. This is why Tennessee fans are so upset. This is what we have come to accept. Our program, our state university has for years allowed this to happen. We deserve better and more importantly the current and former players deserve better. You don’t come to Tennessee for this crap. People in the administration are not giving their all for Tennessee and haven’t in more than a decade. Things have to change.

Ive watched this year, because when things are normal I get very few weekends off especially in the fall. I will support and follow, but my money will be spent elsewhere and the Vols won't be must see when I am off until they get their **** together.
This place will be deernation next year. Its just going to be posters posting their hunting pics on Saturdays.

I legit believe Pruitt just became bound and determined to show everyone he was right about JG, and everyone else was wrong. That determination will cost him his job.
The fact that JG has been tearing it up against our defense in practice, tells you all you need to know about what Trask is going to do on Saturday.

The players will always have my support. Always. I have never, could never, would never cheer for this team to lose. Ever. But the coaches aren't the team. They're paid handsomely to do a job, and when they fail at that job, there comes a point where it's time to part ways. Coaching is a mercenary profession, and results matter. I know Pruitt will be back next year. That doesn't mean I agree it's the right decision or that I'm happy about it. I'm well aware the university doesn't really give a damn about football or its fans, so they won't make the right decision. I won't abandon my fanhood, I'll always bleed Orange & White, but yeah, I'm a very disgruntled fan. I'm tired of the dysfunction, and it starts at the top. You can support the team and still be pissed off at how our program is run.

1.5 million for 6 touchdown passes from your starting qb 7 games into the season.

UT and said boosters are getting their money’s worth.
