Win more and the "recruiting itself" will take care of itself. How has this university managed to consistently pull in top 15 classes the past decade with mostly undesirable on the field results? The orange power T still has some luster.

I get that. Maybe he should be consulting or some kind of liaison. But if he's holding old grudges or something against top notch coaches, maybe he shouldn't be making the big decision. He's been around so long, probably has bad vibes against plenty of guys.

I mean, sounds good in theory but kind of false math. It’s assuming whatever new hire would automatically lead to sell outs. Highly doubtful. What has the yearly average attendance been the past 5 or so years?

Pruitt isn’t the reason we had 28k empty seats a game last year. It’s the teams perpetual dysfunction the past 13 years that led to it. And hiring a Napier or McGoogle isn’t going to lead to sell outs.

Butch did starting out. Pruitt is just terrible at selling the program. Still remember his Y1 quote basically blaming the fans for not coming out...when he did ZERO to hype the team or program. He wasn't good at that angle then and still isn't now. Freeze brings IMMEDIATE hype. National and local. I have been to 0 Pruitt games and I'd be looking for tickets as soon as Freeze was hired. Would love to see an exciting offense again.

If we go 0-3 Pruitt will not be the coach here next year. 1-2 is 50/50. Stop listening to people say “admins don’t want a coaching change or go through a search”. No one ever wants one or wants to fire anyone, especially someone they personally hired. That and can’t afford it is all crowd control.

Say what you want about butch but he created a national buzz that you couldn’t ignore with the 15 and 16 teams. They just didn’t live up to the hype.

It's going to take more time for Freeze to recruit. Some recruits it may not make a difference, but many parents aren't going to direct their kids to a head coach who used a university cell phone to communicate with call girls.

What about 0-1? We're about to get taken to the woodshed by UF. I don't see how we keep UF below 40 points or the margin within 21
