If anything i would say the former football coach/AD has failed more than it has worked.

I’d love to see a list of former football coaches making hires as AD.


I’d guess the hit/miss rate is similar but slightly higher than the John curries/dave hart types making the hires.

Not at all, I appreciated his time here and didn't want him back for this very reason now his time will be remembered for this dark time not to mention he wasn't qualified but isn't it so Tennessee to have an AD and Head Football coach who aren't qualified?

Right. He just doesn't want to deal with the fallout of firing the guy he hired. Much easier to believe that staff changes will right the ship. That was Fulmer's MO for years as a head coach.

UF's philosophy is "what must be done eventually should be done immediately."

UT's philosophy is "what must be done eventually will maybe be done sometime in the foreseeable future."

I believe Fulmer thinks he could of turned it around with new assistants or another year in 2008 and that’s why he wants to give CJP another year.
