2020 Presidential Race

There is an incredible amount of arrogance in thinking that someone cares enough about you that they would audition for your approval in such a stupid way.

Why would anyone make a bet like that and the only reward is to not see posts that you've not cared about so far because their author is a nobody in your life? It seems to me that proposing such stupidity presupposes a certain amount of your own importance in the lives of others

There is a great deal of arrogance in expressing a concept that a person is posting in order to audition for the approval of another. But then again that’s what arrogant people with God II like narcissism do

Seems like there's a lot of "angry on the internet" floating around the PF lately.

Did you ever notice that people on the right tend to use inflammatory words to make a point, and those on the left use inflammatory devices? Whether the pen is mightier than the sword or not - pens do tend to be less messy when the discussion is done.

Are you suggesting that the amount of debt that someone owed, before they got into politics, should be regarded as a matter of significance? That's interesting. Are you consistent in this belief?

According to an article entitled "Donald Trump Has At Least $1 Billion In Debt, More Than Twice The Amount He Suggested," by Dan Alexander which was published in Forbes on October 16, 2020, Donald Trump has over $1 billion in debt. This article provided an itemized break down of this debt, which includes but is not limited to, money borrowed against the following 10 properties:

1) 1290 Avenue of the Americas

Trump owes: $285 million
The creditor: Unclear
It's due: November 2022

2) Trump International Hotel, Washington D.C.

Trump owes: $170 million
The creditor: Deutsche Bank
It's due: September 2024 (this is a variable interest rate loan)

3) 555 California Street

Trump owes: $162 million
The creditor: Unclear
It's due: September 2021 (5.1% interest rate)

4) 40 Wall Street

Trump owes: $138 million
The creditor: Ladder Capital
It's due: July 6, 2025 (3.665% interest rate)

5) Trump National Doral

Trump owes: $125 million
The creditor: Deutsche Bank
It's due: December 2023 (this is a variable interest rate loan)

6) Trump Tower

Trump owes: $100 million
The creditor: Ladder Capital
It's due: September 6, 2022 (4.2% interest rate)

7) Trump International Hotel & Tower (Chicago)

Trump owes: $75 million
The creditor: Deutsche Bank and Chicago Unit Acquisition LLC
It's due: December 2024 for part of it, unclear on other parts (variable interest rate loan)

8) Trump Plaza

Trump owes: $13 million
The creditor: Ladder Capital
It's due: July 6, 2024 (3.85% interest rate)

9) Trump Park Avenue

Trump owes: $10 million
The creditor: Investors Savings Bank
It's due: December 2020 (3.25% interest rate)

10) Trump National Golf Club, Washington D.C.

Trump owes: $7 million
The creditor: Chevy Chase Trust Holdings
It's due: January 2029 (5.5% interest rate)
And according to Forbes he is worth north of 2 billion. Her CC debt is way different then his real estate debt.

Damn, bro, hate to ruin your gotcha' but I'd support Democrats as having ground to challenge that if they have a claim of damages. However, I suspect they've not done so since even with their machinations, Trump appears to have won. I want the legislature to assert their constitutional domain over elections and ensure officials cannot interfere again.

See how objectivity and rationale work?

So you want (prefer) legislators to “interfere”which in the case of the Trump impeachment trial is exactly what happened. Is there really a difference between a corrupt elector and a corrupt legislator? You seem only to be differentiating because you don’t to live with the results you know electors will produce and you hope corrupt legislators can alter voters wishes to your wish/hope

There were several. Search my history if you actually care.

What I find incredible is that I've explained the breakdown in your logic and you still fail to see it. I specifically stated that suits other than Trump's have submitted evidence for fraud, and your continual reply has been to claim that none of Trump's suits have claimed fraud.

Is that for lack of reading my responses, or just a lack of desire to process them? Serious question.

How much public subsistence do you receive?

How can you update "certified" voting machines once the election is underway? Where is configuration management - the locking down of certified systems - in any of this?
I brought this same point up based on our own configuration control protocols in military hardware which I’d guess are less stringent than those used here. “Parties” took exception to my example with no actual knowledge of what the hell configuration control or a configuration audit even is.

I remember - there was some discussion right after the election. Configuration management has been an industry standard in so many areas for years - I know it hit the nuclear power industry at least by sometime in the 1980s. If you even hinted that a nuclear plant problem was caused by hardware/software management even approaching something as sloppy as the election process has been, there would be stuff burning all across the country and villagers at the gates of power with pitchforks.

Yep I’d guess your config protocols were even worse than ours.
