That is one reason Lady Vol fans should be patient and stop knocking her recruiting and coaching. That was not a weak mid major team MoState beat, but a highly ranked Power 5 team and it was done mostly with players she recruited..

I have done considerable comparison "shopping" of the various streaming services in the last year or two. Each has pluses and minuses. My opinion is that for the sports enthusiast, the best option is fuboTV. fuboTV has a 100 channel package that includes almost all, if not all, of the college, pro, and international sports channels available for $59.99/month. There is a dvr limit of 30 hours and you can only stream on 2 devices simultaneously. Right now we are using Youtube TV which provided a little more flexibility than Hulu Live TV because we were traveling more. Almost all of the services have a free trial period and require no long-term contract. Of course, like every streaming service, unless you just enjoy watching tv on your computer, tablet, or cellphone, you'll need a compatible streaming device such as Roku, AppleTV, AndroidTV, FireTV, etc.

Yes, and Kara herself already appears to have a “mystique” about her. Remember how when Pat would walk into a room or an arena and everyone would kinda catch their breath a little and then not be able to take their eyes off of her? I can see that type of reverence coming for Kara Lawson. She just oozes respectability and quality.

It is easy to see the type of players Kellie wants versatile with high basketball IQ. Puckett and Striplin are a lot like Suarez in style of play. Pissot seems to be another player in that mold. She looks for versatile post players that can also play the 3 or 4 and perimeter players with speed and smaller and quicker than we've had there in the past. I'm excited about Suarez but also Walker and Salary those three easily replace what we lost last year. To bad about Darby because she is a versatile player as well much better ball handler and shooter than one would expect from a player of her ranking coming out of high school. I saw her play a few times and she can drill it from long range. She has a high basketball IQ as well does not take risk with the ball. With Wynn and Miles also coming in next season this roster is starting to shape up as one that will be a tough team to beat. Speed and quickness on the perimeter and versatile post players that can shoot it all over the court.

LOL UNC did eventually take the lead toward the end of the 3rd quarter. Props to High Point for being unexpectedly tough competition!! That's one of my favorite sports phenomena, no-names schools having great games against good programs.

NC is up by 5 at the end of the 3rd quarter. UNC outscored them 48-25 after falling behind by 18 in the first 1uarter. High Point scored more in the first quarter than the 2nd/3rd combined, so I'm guess they cooled down significantly from deep.

Pretty decent game between UGA and GA TECH. Neither team is particularly deep. UGA returned a lot from last season but don’t look much better. Their guards have regressed each season it seems. Morrison in particular looked really promising as a Freshman. She’s had some injuries but she’s never cracked the ceiling on her game.

The poster was correct in saying that fans would of said “we never should have been down to that team” no matter what the margin of the win would be.

Wake Forest showing good competition against Missouri State so far (this is Mo State's third game in three days, I believe?) They may not win today, but WF is one in the ACC that will rise off the bottom of the barrel this season, I think.

Arkansas and Maryland tonight--no dog in that fight but it's great having this many ranked teams playing so early in the season. Miss State's first game of the season tonight, will be interesting to see what Nikki does with this squad.
