We've had a lot of people reach out and offer help. Bring food, get medicine, etc. I just had an old friend here send me a message. One of the first guys I got to know, fished with and stuff. Asking if we needed anything, food or even money. We're good, but it sure does make you feel good. I haven't seen him in probably 3-4 years, but we still go at each other on Facebook over football. He moved a bit further away, and it's just been hard to get together. Idk, just really touching to me.

It's just weird, but it tasted better to me, more than bottled water. We have city water here, I won't drink it.

Not mine! At least overall.

Unfortunately, they vary a ton. But every veteran has the right to go to any medical center in the entire system. We had veterans from Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia who felt it was worth the trip, and we were privileged to serve them.
