2020 Presidential Race

Now your post actually works.

Of course, you never would talk about "expanding" the court when a Republican is in the White House or controls the Senate.
They were propping RBG up on life support, and here they are now wanting to disqualify conservatives based on age. Shameles hypocrite.

This article is a better parody of the weakness of Trump’s case than I could have written:

* pathetic attempt to establish expertise and authority
* don’t need to prove beyond reasonable doubt to overthrow a US election
* bigly rallies
* boat parades
* stock market good
* antifa bad
* regurgitates same fraud claims circulating wildly on social media with no further proof
Just so I understand, you're claiming that civil cases take more than a preponderance of the evidence as burden of proof?

It's amazing. Almost like somebody lifting quotes we send back and forth on VN and offering them as news. The devolution of the human intellect and sense of what is real since the internet came into existence is incredible.
That extends beyond just news reporting as well. Younger people have no real grasp of consequences because they live in a virtual world just as much or more than the real one.

They counted more mail-in ballots than they sent out?
I honestly don’t even care who wins the election at this point. Those things need to be explained though.

Imagine crying about fake news for 4 years, and then touting actual fake news about conspiracies.
We sure are lucky to have you guys here to filter reality for everyone, with you unchecked access and deep insight into the hidden mechanations of our national elections. VN is fortunate to have such in-the-know posters.

MY hope is that whomever the country *actually* elected is sworn in.
It’s so messed up right now that I’m not sure we will ever truly know what happened. There was definitely fraud. The problem is we don’t know exactly how much and don’t have a way to truly prove it to this point. The left is sitting back and claiming there isn’t fraud. The right is throwing everything including the kitchen sink out there as fraud and a good amount of it has turned out to be incorrect. The truth is somewhere in the middle but that is the part that seems most difficult to actually prove. My gut tells me that the right has enough to really make a lot of people doubt the result and to agree that it looks really bad but isn’t able to connect the dots well enough to actually change the result. We shall see. We all deserve answers to these claims. Hopefully we actually get them but I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Is it legal to move here and vote? Yes. Is it election fraud to move here, vote, and then leave? No. The Governor has already said they will be checking that and prosecuting what he called it as election fraud. There isn’t going to be a massive number of people to check anyway. It’s just hand wringing.

It will eventually come down to another case of the government investigating itself.

Gee, wonder what the result will be?

My understanding is that this doesn't have to be proven beyond a reasonable doubt, just by a preponderance of the evidence, and for the record, testimony and signed affidavits are evidence.

And how messed up is it that they can't prove what's actually happened? That was one of the most damning things about the PA testimony; the claims that chain of custody is gone. Just gone. NO proving one way or the other what's valid and what's not. That just seems like enough to invalidate an election by the time it gets to the SCOTUS level.

I'm following it, waiting to see how all of this bakes out. It is the single most important political scandal to happen in our lifetime.
