Pennsylvania has no laws against faithless electors, though in October Democrats tried to hurriedly create one. So, what we have here is the Republican majority state legislature holding a court of public opinion, potentially proving that defrauded election results were certified, and thus opening the door for faithless electors (and/or reason to overturn the certification of the election).

Three swing states have Republican state legislatures doing the exact same thing over the next week.

The legislatures in these states already have laws that automatically select a bank of electors that were nominated by the parties, prior to the election.

That's why election concerns are never really addressed. Slightly over half the people are happy with the results, so there's never any public outcry to look at charges of election fraud. Now if a darkhorse third party candidate came from nowhere and won, you better believe there would be action.

That's scary. And it's worsened by a media that refuses to actually report on this fairly or to investigate on it. The same media that screamed election interference for 4 years. This country is very divided right now and it's only getting worse.

I can't help but wonder if this is part of the reason that it's hard to buy ammo these days. It seems as though literally no one is carrying it anymore.

Duh. That was apparent from the start. To do that the mail it in voting should have been done in the presence of a notary who witnessed the ID and notarized the sealed ballot envelope - that the ballot was blank and then completed and placed in the envelope in his or her presence. Otherwise anybody could have completed the ballot. Just piss poor execution of a fantastically flawed voting concept.

That's exactly what many on the other side thought in 2016. Trump has caused both sides to lose confidence in America, whoever would have thought such a thing????
2020 proved to half that the system can still work and helped to restore some of that lost confidence.
Better times, indeed.
