But they’d both have to get the coaching required to become all they could be before we’d know for sure. And neither have gotten that at UT
Bailey escaped twice, slid once after a good gain and ran out of bounds after another. Wasn’t concussed on either. You had me when you started qualifying which games his stats should be judged by and you ended it yourself by citing his “prepared” stats we’re less than JG’s... hope the kids succeeds somewhere....
I’m honest. There’s no need to try and lie because people know better. However there was a huge difference in the type of plays called for Maurer vs JG last season. Maurer attacked the deep and intermediate middle where JG took the check downs and sidelines. That being said 54% of chunk plays is better than 59% of high percentage passes.
He had ONE concussion last year when he landed on his head in that freak accident I eluded to. He played the next week even though he wasn’t healed and re injured the same injury. The only other “accident” you could be referring to is the hit vs UGA that would’ve knocked the breath out of any of us or worse. I hardly call that “frail” when he was wanting back in.
And? I know UK and UTC are no comparison. That’s why I’m saying their situations have to match to know one way or the other. Let’s say HB got his first start vs Vandy (if not postponed) and threw for 230, 3 tds. Are you trying to convince me that people wouldn’t say his start was better than Maurers?
