I understand completely, I had that with my second one . The PTs came in right after surgery and worked out my shoulder , that night they came back to do it again and I threatened them both , they went and snitched on me to my Dr.

I can’t speak for the tonsils I had them out when I was ten , but I still had packing in my nose a week after the surgery . After they remove the packing it starts to heal up pretty fast but you will need 3 weeks before you want to try and do much manual labor . (IMO )

My ENT guy wants to do that AND take out my tonsils. I had to tell him NFW!

I had my tonsils out as an adult, and was thinking it can't be that bad since I have seen little kids eating ice cream soon afterward. I couldn't even swallow spit for days. Damn, it hurt.
