If someone wants to merge this, have at it.

IMO, Pruitt's not going anywhere so most of these threads are pointless.

However, he could go somewhere at the end of 2021.

So, what would he have to do in 2021 to keep his job?

Beat somebody, or at least lose by single digits.

Beat every team they should. Be competitive in every game......not get blown out. Beat at least one of Florida, Georgia, Bama, have the team motivated and show player development.

Also stop being stubborn to change.......if change is needed.

Don’t hold your breath.

In Y4, he should go 9-3 (or 8-4) against that schedule. Anything less should be auto dismissal.

if by some miracle he's back next year he would have to blow out UK and Vandy, go 10-2, beat one of the big 3, be extremely competitive in the other 2. only then would I feel good about him coming back. and a top 7 recruiting class

If by some miracle? He’s 100% going to be here next year. He could lose to Vandy by 7 touchdowns and he’ll still be here next year.

Win 75% of games (1 should be Ga., Fl., or Al.), no blow out losses, and JG does not play a game.

The predictions of wins and losses are way off, imo. The question is what does he have to do to KEEP his job.

We all know dang good and well he keeps his job if there is general improvement in the play of his team. I'll go so far and say he can have a weak win loss record (6-6) and keep his job if the team improves.

Depends on who you ask. If you're asking fans, the answer is start someone other than JG, don't lose to KY, Vandy, Mizzou, and other ooc cupcakes. If you're asking Fulmer, then who knows. Pruitt could crap the bed and Phil would still ride with him.

10-2 isn’t a fair expectation. You don’t go from 3 wins to 10 in one year.

Become sane and rational ...... Let the offensive staff put in the better game day quarterback - which would mean starting Bailey or Salter from game 1 on. We really are not as bad as we appear - which will become apparent if there is a quarterback change this year. Miss St, Georgia, Missouri this year- Florida when they switched to Trask -were all dramatically better, once they switched qb's. The difference is - we could and should have pulled the trigger much sooner.
