He’s a polarizing individual for sure. And it’s his own fault. Policy wise I was pleasantly surprised. Had I believed he was gonna follow thru on many of his platform points I would have voted for him in 2016 instead of JohnsonI'm just poking fun.
I predicted DJT would lose because the hate for him was the most heightened I'd ever seen against any politician.
I thought it was silly on those expecting him to change his tack after getting elected. Hell it’s what got him elected and ultimately unelected alsoAnd by Trump himself. He had an opportunity to be a real outside-the-beltway president. But to his credit or detriment, he remained steadfast in his bombastic approach. It really cultivated hate in the left.

He had a lot of good policies, but he had a lot of haters including the speaker of the house from both the republican side and the democratic side. Someday the stupid politicians will recognize that the country consists of more than the coastal pukes that want to rule the country.Trump had about 4 or 5 policies pass which I thought were good. Those didn't outweigh the bad (more borrowing).
I'm was a bit surprised so many bought into the wall. The borrowing was the only major one I disliked. Should have drawn a line and stuck to it.
Lol again! So him pointing to the other parties fear tactics is him owning it?!Even if he was just saying thats what the Dems sound like, he kept saying it at the rallies.
As I recall, reports were that advisors advised that he should have just stuck to bragging on the stock market etc..
I always thought the wall was background noise frankly. I think we need one but it’s just one piece of a multilayered approach.I'm was a bit surprised so many bought into the wall.
I saw a video a couple weeks ago where a crew was working on a section and about 100 yards away a dude was sliding down the wall on the other side. Laughable.
I can only hope everyone realizes it soon enough. He had a lot of good policies, but he had a lot of haters including the speaker of the house from both the republican side and the democratic side. And Betsy DeVos? She was grossly unqualified and her directives were strictly from the ideological and elitist perspective of a pampered billionaire with no credentials in education. It seems she was named Secretary of Education for one reason: to expand school choice via charter schools and private school vouchers. She never offered much else, but a strongly held opinion on that, which never even materialized. The department's 2018 budget proposal would have set aside more than $400 million to expand charter schools and private school vouchers, but Congress said no... and no voucher program ever got off the ground either.I also felt like Trump was just trolling us with some of his Cabinet selections:
--Rick Perry famously forgot about the Dept of Energy during a debate so it obviously wasn't his specialty - guess what he headed up?
--Pruitt was at war with the EPA,,,sooo, it's all yours Ricky..
--Another few, Zinke and Price, resigned early on for being overly swampy as well.
I enjoyed the show Veep but it was intended to be fictional and not a model for Trump's admin.
EDIT: I can already tell the Pube's retort will be you guys just voted against Trump... My reply - "Yep"
