Here's what he could say. "I just wanna say to all those who support UT football...the fans..students...alumni...that we are very aware of the high expectations we all have for Tennessee football. We share those high expectations and we strongly regret we've fallen far short of those expectations... especially this season. There's no excuses...but rest assured we are doing everything in our power to get this program back to its rightful place at the top of the SEC and as a national contender. Some of these uncompetitive losses are simply unacceptable and SHOULD NOT ever happen with a historically successful program like UT.
