2020 Presidential Race

And none of the banana republic BS happened in 2016.
If you want people to trust the election then run an election that doesn’t appear that it might be rigged.

if you stop counts, limit people’s ability to see what’s happening and continue to receive votes after the counting has started then you’re going to have the appearance of fraud.

It’s really an easy problem to fix but it appears the people in charge like the system Fugged up.

It does not appear to be rigged. The courts have borne this out. Counts were not “stopped”, watchers had plenty of access, no votes after Nov 3 were counted.

If you really want to debate PA receiving votes postmarked by Nov 3 for an extra 3 days then fine. They didn’t make difference anyway and NC allowed it for NINE days.

This voting machine conspiracy is so convoluted there is no way it could be pulled off across multiple states without a slew of obvious evidence. the software was flipping votes until it was overwhelmed with Trump support? Give me a break.

I don't buy the Trump theories that the election was stolen.

That said, the mantra I see repeated is "no evidence of widespread voter fraud" or "not enough fraud to swing the election". So we know both fraud and mistakes occur in our elections. Shouldn't everyone be on board with minimizing these cases? Like so many things it seems people get all defensive and refuse to acknowledge their could be problems and places for improvement.

So, playing Devil's advocate for just a moment. Tucker Carlson is asking for specifics of her case before she has had a chance to present it to a court room.

This is the same Tucker Carlson that has had a package stolen in transit between NYC and LA with regards to the Biden stuff. I'm sure (or I'm hoping) Powell has info and will present it when the time is right. But if there is anything that she thinks needs to be held back, would she present it to Tucker Carlson (no offense to him) when she knows hat he has been breached and likely has a mole somewhere amongst his group? Or is being observed by some external agency?

Always been a fan of Tucker, but I lost some respect for him when he announced on his show that he would not proceed to report on Hunter Biden because "that is just not what we do here at Fox news with out evidence and he is a personal friend of me and my wife" that may not be exact word for word but very close.
And no way can Powell lay her proof out to any news agency, especially with the corrupt news we now have.

Step back, look and listen. The Repubs are doing the same exact thing that the Dems were doing in RussiaGate. Standing in front of the cameras making wild claims and saying they can back it all up with PROOF. then in front of the Congress where they were liable the evidence suddenly wasn't accessible. Same thing is going on here. shoe is on the other foot.

Yep. Just one more example of how they all suck and there isn't much difference between the parties other than which special interests they cater to.

Paused / stopped Whatever
It never should have happened. And neither should have anything else that casts doubts on the election process. This is what you get when you spend 4 years claiming the process is flawed and trump stole the 2016 election then screw the pooch on transparency in multiple places.
Good luck convincing everyone the pause wasn’t a stop and it’s all ok.

I’m still in favor of turning federal elections over to the military and the observers get to do nothing but watch.

Trump's Victim in Chief act of the past 4 years aside, the constitution gives the states the right to make their own election laws. They've had ample opportunity to exercise those rights.

While I'm sorry that states ran by Republican's made election laws you don't like, Trump lost by a mile several weeks ago and there is no drama here whatsoever. Get over it.

You are conveniently overlooking a colossal difference -
Clinton conceded immediately and Obama provided a smooth transfer.

Let Trump do those two things and let the accusations and investigations continue to play out.

so it doesn’t appear to be rigged to almost half the country? Ok

This is similar to doing away with rules that protect everyone when it suits you. With no thoughts for the unintended consequences.

Example.
Patriot act.
Democrats complain that Bush better not try to pass on simple majority and do away with filibuster because that would be soooo bad. They pass it normally and it prevents an even more tyrannical bill.
ACA. Same Dems then pass the ACA by simple majority. I guess they forgot how bad that was. They also didn’t think how it would affect things long term. I’ve lost count of how many times that got shoved down their throats.
Now we have serious Election Day problems that will have long term implications and need to be fixed and the people on the winning side think “it’s fine”. It’s not fine and will lead to a much bigger clusterfugg next time if some reforms are not put in place.
Everyone should be more concerned about the republic.

till you can see beyond your team you will remain part of the problem

It's refreshing to see a republican in today's environment with integrity.
Although I didn't vote for him in 2018 because of all the clouds surrounding Brian Kemp, when we lived in the John's Creek area, we heard nothing but good things about him. I guess it was a case of 1 suffering because of the many. There are good politicians on both sides and $hitty politicians on both sides. That all gets lost in the partisan aspect of everything.

Oh, I'm not overlooking anything. Congress is still playing games and refusing to settle on a stimulus package while Americans suffer. We need a PURGE of all elected officials as far as I'm concerned.
