Looks like the Wayne County Republicans will not be able to rescind certification. I assume the move is just to put pressure on the two republicans in charge of certifying the entire statewide vote to tote party line.

The strategy is to get enough of the election certifications stalled and allow the Supreme Court to step in to legitimize throwing a fairly large loss to the House of Representative state delegations and allowing them to overturn Biden's victory in Trump's favor.

The chances of the strategy working aren't as bad as buying a Powerball ticket, but they are in that area.

There’s enough data available to the numbers guys. If there’s any truth to the fraud it will come out.

1. what reason did they eventually give for being willing to certify the white area of Livonia, that had a much worse balance? As long as Detroit, with a better balance, was excluded, while listing balance as the reason?

2. And for no objection to certifying 2016 when the books were worse?

This is the stuff that civil wars are made of, and would upend our basic democratic voting rights.

If I were a Republican, I certainly wouldn't be rooting for Trump to succeed with this tactic in any state, period.

Meh. It's Trump so you already know he's gonna do what he do. To his credit, it's a philosophy which has served him well for a long time.

I am not concerned about the transition process. Everything will transition before the inauguration.

No longer belonging to a party, I'm going out of my way to not jump to that conclusion, why I'm asking.

I can relate it to an SEC ref calling Ole Miss for targeting but reviewing a worse hit by a Bama player and ruling in Bama's favor. Neither is my team but no doubt it looks sketchy from the outside and without explanation.

Even with a peaceful and uneventful transition this country is in serious trouble
