Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Then wear a mask.

Masks effectively protect other people from the person who is wearing it, but a mask is not effective protection for the person who is wearing it. How is it even possible that you do not know that? How? We've been into this pandemic for over nine months, and you do not know that???!!!

Again, I wore a mask and I still got it. Masks alone aren’t going to save you.

See post #82,551. "Masks effectively protect other people from the person who is wearing it, but a mask is not effective protection for the person who is wearing it. Masks aren't 100% so it's still possible to expose others. Don't be so selfish

Oh, the stupid just won't stop. It I wear a mask and want everyone else to wear a mask because they stop the spread of the disease, you think I am being selfish. You, on the other hand, are not being selfish by not wearing a mask to protect other people? What is wrong with you?

More like 98% or more when I go to stores in Knox County.

Proper use is an entirely different subject. Most people cant maintain the self awareness needed to use correctly. Which is probably another reason to do away with these.
Publix isnt even saying over the intercom or challenging in person to wear a mask any more. *down near Altanta*

Might want to tell the CDC that.

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)

"Masks also help reduce inhalation of these droplets by the wearer (“filtration for personal protection”"

If masks are so effective why do healthcare workers who are masked up, sometimes double masked catch it at work?

You're being extremely selfish by playing the odds with other people's lives. If your mask is 75% effective that doesn't mean people are only 25% dead

That's pretty dumb. Are masks just one way PPE?

How is it that the same cloth with only passive control only stops the virus from traveling in one direction?

Actually would be pretty effective. Wolves hunt by isolating and separating. Actually most predators do. Too much chance something goes wrong fighting the whole herd.

Just like separating and isolating and shutting down businesses makes us vulnerable. And to more than just the virus. Even after you ignore how our immune systems develop strength over time thru exposure any "bubble boy" is going to have a very weak immune system. You may cut back your chances of getting the disease by isolating, but then you also make yourself very vulnerable to it if you do get it. Look at all the vitamin deficiencies people experience due to being locked in.

I do not expose other people to my possible virus because -- drum roll -- I wear a mask when I go grocery shopping. If everyone wore a mask, the infections would be going down, down, down instead of up, up, up. How is it even possible that you do not know that?
When you pick your nose in the car after shopping with the finger you touched surfaces with inside the store, you're putting virus in your nose.

Experiment.

You wear a mask and spit it at me.
I’ll not wear a mask and spit at you. Maybe then you’ll understand.
That liquids work different than aerosolized particles?

It protects against sneezing on someone. I dont know about you, but I dont have an issue with that, and i havent experienced too many people sneezing on me.

A mask is equal to me doing the following: social distance, not talking, breathing through my nose, no sneezing, no coughing, and no spitting (sorry Roustabout).
