As a professor of pharmacology and pharmacy law and ethics...it makes me excited and nervous that they got these vaccines thru all the clinical trials so quickly...its been alleged for years that the FDA has become too industry friendly...we don't need another thalidomide tragedy...I probably won't get it. I work from home...we homeschool...not around anyone who is high risk

What if you were buying a house, and the builder told you that even though they were using the same methods and technology that they always do...but since the gov gave them a bunch of money they were gonna build your house 100% complete over a weekend instead of 6 months...and only have a fraction as many inspections as usual???

Actually, a better analogy would be if they were going to use materials that had never been used before in home construction, but they seem to hold up fine for at least three months and haven't caused any problems, yet.

The situation on inpt psych beds is the same in Tennessee. It's incredibly sad and unforgivable, IMO, that this devastating effect is being given almost no publicity.

Now compare our death rates per 100,000 with those who did total lockdown. It’s a damn virus. It’s going to do what it does until we have a vaccine. You can shrink it to a smolder but you won’t extinguish it. It’s a really dumb approach. The math on this is simple. If you are under 70 it’s less then a 1% chance of death. Open everything up and elderly, or those with other health issues, shelter in place.
