I was thinking about this over the weekend. I've heard of bars accused of spreading covid but to my knowledge it's a zilch for restaurants.Nope. And trust me, if it were speculated to be so, it would be all
over the news.
A few thoughts. Restaurants tend to deal with nuclear family units so that helps. People tend loosen inhibitions when loaded at a bar. Not so much at a restaurant. Not saying people don’t get drunk, they do, but not nearly as often. Lastly, most bars are small operations. Meaning at most you have 5-10 units. Larger casual dinning restaurants have tons more then that. Our protocol and procedures have to be way more diligent. My job since Covid hit as only been focused on two things on my visits. Eliminate all unessential spend and insure my restaurants are 100% flawless with our COVID procedures.I was thinking about this over the weekend. Do you think it is because of your sterilization procedures, the weak virus transmission, a combo, something else altogether?
Hell no. Resist. The idiots can’t tell us how many people we can have at our homes. Screw themWant to be with others for Thanksgiving? Get ready to quarantine.
Does this sound realistic to people? 2 weeks of quarantine before Thanksgiving AT YOUR HOUSE!
Are we okay with the gov't telling us this?

Good info, thanks for sharing. Wishing a complete recovery for you guys. So, I think my first symptoms appeared Thursday. It started as head congestion. About 24 hours later the fever started and I hurt all over. The fever was pretty strong for about 24 hours and then started to come down steadily and now I barely have one. I have a little bit of a sore throat and a cough as the congestion moved from my head into my chest but it’s an infrequent cough and I’m taking Mucinex to keep everything loose. The doctor told me yesterday that basically all they can do is treat the symptoms and to take things for immune system boost. I’ve been taking zinc, vitamins C and D, and elderberry. They did prescribe me a z-pack but that’s not for the virus, that’s just to make sure no other problems come up. So basically I felt pretty bad for about 48 hours but this thing moves super quick so I’m feeling much better now. It’s still lingering with my wife who was a couple days ahead of me but she feels considerably better than she did at first also and so far it seems to be affecting us pretty much the same way on the same timeline. I can see how someone who has issues that make them susceptible to the virus could quickly find themselves in trouble. It’s crazy how quickly the symptoms change.
