EXACTLY. As I said in late Spring, we are likely doing the exact opposite of what we should be doing with children and young/healthy adults. Rather than challenging the immune system and developing immunity, we tried putting people into bubbles and wishing the virus would magically disappear. How has that worked out?
‘Rona update. Day 4. Taste and smell are still out of order. Smell is by far most affected. I can stick my nose in a jug of ammonia, inhale, and just get the burn in my nose. It’s weird. I think that’s why taste is so muted, nothing is bland, but it’s like remembering how something tasted that you haven’t tried in a long time.
It feels as though it might be moving into my lungs. I don’t have coughing fits or shortness of breath, yet. But I also have this strange “hollow” feeling in my chest. I’m not concerned about that yet. I had a terrible case of pneumonia in 1996, and this feels nothing like that. Although it probably wouldn’t.
One strange thing to note is that now that my fever is gone, my temperature has been cool. 96.5 cool.
It's what happens when scare a flock of millions of coward sheep to death for going on a year. From the no **** department:
One in five COVID-19 patients develop mental illness within 90 days - study
Somehow that doesn't get widely reported..hmmm...wonder why?cases:

So curious.
Exactlysiap. but anxiety, depression, and insomnia.
those all sound stress related to me. probably forced by the media spouting their fear nonsense 24/7, and government shutting down society and normal interactions. Not unusual for those people to take on guilt they don't actually have due to the psychological issues.
hate to see it, but it sounds like another case of the "cure" being worse than the disease.
Obviously masks are a fraud also..everyone pretty much wears them now, and they ain't doing **** to slow the overhyped bad cold down. It’s late fall, weather is cool, and a flu-like virus is spreading because we’re beginning to trap ourselves indoors once again.
Go figure.
I love the people in the comments begging for the feds to take away funding or punish the state. These are the same people that call others bootlickers for not thinking every cop is a racist psychopath.
Good luck Hutch. I'm not a church goer but have alot of friends and family that are. I've asked them to place you and your family on the prayer list.So my wife showed symptoms Tuesday and tested positive Wed. My middle son showed symptoms Wed tested positive Thur. I started showing some symptoms Thur but they really kicked in yesterday. Getting tested this morning but I already know I have it. My whole body hurts, head is killing me nonstop, my limbs feel very heavy, and my fever bounces between the mid 101s when I have Tylenol and the mid-to-upper 102s when I don’t. The wife is doing better and so is my son. My other 2 sons surprisingly tested negative but the one that is positive is autistic so we can’t exactly keep him confined. We had our first taste of online school Friday. It’s a huge challenge for people with autism so we have to have someone sitting with him the whole time. That creates problems when the other 2 need help. This is going to be an interesting few weeks.
Look up purse lip breathing. Fill your lungs as full as you can, then make your lips tight like letting air out of a balloon. Your cheeks should puff out with the effort to blow air through that resistance. Do it 10 times but stop if you get dizzi. Several times a day helps that hollow chest feeling. This was my most recent update on Facebook.
88, I'm not a great messenger of the Gospel myself. I wasn't being coy, and I knew you were being gracious to Hutch. Since you opened the door, I would like to mention that questioning is a good thing. It leads to answers. Praying can often reveal those answers. I think anyone willing to pray has them received just fine no matter what else surrounds you personally. Your prayers mean just as much as your church-going family and friends. Nice to meet you!I know and I try. Just not sure how it would received when I question so much. Trying to help hutch here.
