Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Yup, that's the problem with living in a blue state. Their is currently a mask task force going around citing individuals who don't comply with the rules. It's a misdemeanor and punishable up to a $5,000 fine or a year in prison.

I'm sure that those enforcing the laws are made up of some of our finest LEOs? Maybe not all of them... but I'm sure some, right?

Solving Long Covid

WTF is this nicotinic acid???

— Why countries like Sweden, Africa, etc have drastically lower death rates without intensive distancing measures (They supplement bread with nicotinic acid unlike many Western Countries)

I watched the interview with the Biden Covid advisor. A couple points:

1. he said if I ask 50 people what "lockdown" means I'll get 75 different answers - then he failed to explain what he meant by it
2. he cited Australia as an example of how this works. Australia's lock down lasted 112 days (that's a wee bit more than 4-6 weeks) and they are an island nation and had heavy handed enforcement (see below). There's no f'n way 4 - 6 weeks would do it in the US.

Solving Long Covid
Quite interesting just from a cursory reading so I bookmarked for further review.

Now @McDad may have already posed this question, but being that low NAD+ has been identified by this research as a key vector in risk of serious outcomes from COVID infection, does it detail exactly how one goes about boosting one’s ‘nads?

Yeah, that’s a no. Which state sues first if this happens?

It was supposed to be 7 to 10 days to flatten the curve! Now on month 9 they are asking for another 6 weeks.

Everyone better go ahead and cancel your spring break and 4th of July 2021 plans Slow Joe & Heels will be shutting the country down.

Has anyone addressed what they expect to happen as soon as people begin traveling again?

if you are talking Australia I haven't looked into it. they did have their first day with no new cases but as you suggest that doesn't make anyone immune. Presumably they've quarantined all the positive cases (or attempted to) but no way they can open regular travel with out the risk of going through it all again.

Yes, that's my point. Maybe they are more trusting in a vaccine than Americans appear to be and have faith in the availability of one in the very near future.

Like, as in magic? Our will the virus have been eliminated from the rest of the world? Our will everyone there accept a vaccine as soon as it is ready?

Like, some people will get COVID. Most won’t. Those that do - most will be asymptomatic. A minimal amount will get sick. A minimal amount of those may die. Just as people die every day from vehicle travel or falling down stairs or getting hit by trains.

This “pandemic” is more about manipulation and control than it is about lives and safety.

I understand all that. I am referring to Australia's response to round 1. Are they just going to lock down indefinitely again once cases climb (which they invariably will, unless an effective vaccine is distributed very quickly there)?

Dimocrats we should listen to what the Doctors and Scientists say when it comes to covid.

Also...

Doctors & Scientists there is only two genders & life begins at conception, Dimocrats......
