The east was down to a historically low level and he struggled. It was hard then, it's harder now.

It’s really not lol. Kirby isn’t a better coach than mark richt. Vanderbilt is horrible. South Carolina is bad. Missouri is bad. Kentucky is about the same. Florida may be a little better but then and Georgia always have good players so all that matters is what the other teams have and most of them are all bad

Uh, we tried that with Butch. He brought "the best staff in the country" with him.

And it was his best staff lol. Laid the ground work on recruiting for a lot of our best players.

yeah, but lest not forget why they HAD to do that........................they were desperate. having already been turned down by Rich freaking Rodriguez.....they had no choice but to go all in on saban and give him whatever he wanted, which was control.

and it worked out for htem. Saban wasn't their first choice.....they "wound up" with the greatest coach ever....it wasn't the plan.

that's the difference between us and Bama. they wind up with Nick Saban. We wind up with Dooley, Jones and Pruitt...........................

it's not that I dont believe it, granted there a **** ton of conspiracy theories around this joint. It's just that it doesnt matter. Fulmer isnt going to pursue any one. Pruitt is the coach. Any changes would happen next year. This AD wont get into another cluster **** buyout.

To consistently win at, yes, I do.

What do you mean by consistently win? A good coach should go 8-4 here on a yearly basis. Our last two coaches have done it and both have shown to be terrible. If 8-4 is our floor I’ll take that all day every day especially when the playoff expands.

Honestly just the daily BS that keeps us coming back to this forum..”hypotheticals” and we are on the verge of a coaching search..those are some of the best times and fun memories on volnation so stick around buddy I’ve gone through 3.Pruitt making 4 once he gets fired
