If we are relying on the check into cash guy for big money, I'm very doubtful. Not that I know him personally but that business model is semi scamy imo. I've never used them but I'm sure it's a joke how much money they take per transaction.

I don't know, pretty hollow victory if it comes with the permanent question of whether you had to cheat to get there.

Really though, I'm just not sold on Freeze being the savior people are making him out to be. Can he win without a dynamic playmaker QB? Seems like all his glory sits on a limited resume. A good build at Ole Miss though with questionable methods. Two good years there, mostly defined by beating Saban twice, but in those seasons he also lost to Arkansas twice and Memphis as well (in fairness you could put those losses in the "sh** happens" file). And then there's this season with Liberty, but this season's weird anyway and Liberty's offense seems like a one-man show (although admittedly I haven't followed closely).

Would he be an improvement? Maybe. But I really don't understand all the worship. I actually understood the Gruden hype better than I do the Freeze hype, and I wasn't a Grudenite. There, I've done it now.

Not sure who listened to the podcast today but AP just reiterated what I have been saying on the board for months. Chaney runs an outdated offense that had been masked by the superior talent at Georgia. He has to have more talent than the opposition to be successful.

Thought that was noteworthy as well. His offense has been putrid. And the whole “qb whisperer” is very clearly a farce.

BTW, no one has talked about this, but I think Pruitt took over defensive play calling in 4th quarter against Arkansas. We were more aggressive. Pruitt needs to be calling the defense, he should have never let Ansley call the defense. Pruitt is an elite DC, he needs to coach to his strength.

I think Edwards is going to do fine. Harbaugh has been so so but I’ll add him to the Lovie Smith failure category. However with harbaugh it hasn’t been His recruiting like you mentioned
