Alright I'm gonna play devil's advocate for the FG thing. Cimaglia was a game-time decision due to a leg injury and almost didn't travel with the team. He apparently reaggravated the leg during the game, and 42 yards was pushing it. That's my understanding. So we don't get to see HB and have more time to stew on how bad Pruitt is while we look forward to JG's return and the same ole same ole. I haven't been a negavol in the past, always fairly neutral on coaches, but when you can't line up properly in year 2, get beat by UK at home in year 3 and suffer bowout losses in all of your seasons to any team with a pulse, it's time to move on. It's not that this or that need to be fixed, it's that Germy doesn't know how to HC in year 3 and pulled a Butch, lying to all of us with the 'we wasn't close enough' to kick a FG excuse.
Two words------coach speak"It would take something really, really special for us to leave what we're building here," Freeze said Monday.
Quote from the good reverend on the Paul Finebaum Show. Sure sounds like he's talking about that dream job of his.![]()
One of our assistant coaches lived at "Platinum Plus" in Memphis during recruiting visits. Nobody on this earth can walk on water.Man if only y’all knew some of the stuff that went on during the Fulmer time for recruiting. Crazy stuff happens at every school. I guess we only condemn those who get caught.
Mullen said something similar days before the Florida hiring."It would take something really, really special for us to leave what we're building here," Freeze said Monday.

The same Weinke who hasn’t developed a single QB since being here? And it would have probably been a 9-6 game then.Yeah I'll be pissed if Mond is ultimately out and they called it. That would be a screwjob, if they still had 53 players or whatever. We may have had a real shot vs their backups. Otherwise, it's whatever.
Fwiw 247 said JG was likely going to be cleared anyway, especially with how Maurer played last game. Shrout seems out at this point. Weinke reconfirmed HB is not there yet according to staff, so he was never starting. Vs Mond...no chance with our D. But vs King...we had a shot though ughh.
And more people go down the rabbit hole. I'm telling you, you're setting yourself up for disappointment. It's going to be entertaining, but disappointing none the less.Makes me think there must already be talk and possibly an agreement between Pruitt and Fulmer. Might be why he didn’t wear a Tennessee shirt yesterday...he hates the Vols so much, that he’s not going to wear the colors now that he doesn’t have to. Hubbs doesn’t talk about things like that off the cuff...he’s getting a feel from the fanbase for the AD as to how we would respond. I think it might be really good news that he’s mentioning Freeze so much. We will see.
Yeah, we all better get ready for this thing to explode.
Make him Head Defensive Coach. Make Hugh the Head Offensive Coach. Zero micromanagement on each side of the ball. No CEO at the top. Major decisions decided by a 5 coach council. Reinvent the MFing wheel.I couldn't see a scenario where the old HC took a demotion to stay on the current coaching staff. I wouldn't hate it, but I don't think it realistic.
Bump for @Bassmaster_Vol- Hubbs
