I have made my feelings on Trump pretty clear. With that said this is lunacy. And yes his admin deserves major credit for aiding in the development and distribution light years faster then we have ever before. And it’s probably going to be multiple vaccines.

It's a rushed vaccine matter how you slice it. At this time, I just don't think it's worth it. We've been living our lives like normal for 6 month. Kids are in daycare, and they get everything. Nothing yet. My thoughts may change these next few months, but right now, no thanks.

Honestly once the vaccines are available, other than some extreme cases, no one under 35 should be in any rush to get it. School aged children probably shouldn't get it at all.

Increasing cases are a good thing so long as it doesn't overwhelm the health system. Here in Ohio cases are ten fold what they were during the lockdown but deaths are below where they were at that time.

Getting past this is twofold:

1) Folks getting it and building immunity

2) Folks getting immunized through a vaccine

Both of these things look like are happening or on their way to happening. Unless we're deluded into thinking nearly everyone is going to get the vaccine, we'll need large numbers of people coming down with it and developing immunity to it

I’ve tested positive. Been feeling like crap since Sunday. Symptoms are mild, though. Low grade fever that comes and goes, headache, and a light cough. Taste and smell are unaffected so far.
I hate that I’m going to miss work and I hate that my fiancé and granddaughter will have to quarantine along with me.
