If this happens and they get Freeze, go ahead and accept being a bottom feeder for at least the next five years. One more with Pruitt and then four more years to rebuild for the new coach (hopefully be the right guy) and then be able to compete with the big boys and USC since they would be curb-stomping us then.LOL. Even SC cares more about winning than we do
If Pruitt had hired Briles as OC and maybe Lance Thompson as DC and left them be maybe our situation would be vastly different. From all reports Ansley is vastly overrated.Sam Pittman has a beast staff though.
Barry Odom as DC & Briles at OC. Absolutely smart hires and ya know he lets them do their jobs.
I actually hadn't seen your post. Im guessing Hugh is their top target? As I said, their boosters came together last night and told their AD that no more money will be coming in as long as Muschamp is their coach.
Meanwhile, ours are making excuses about how this clown just needs some new coaches. Wonder how many he will fire in the middle of games? Just so damn sad how poor leadership is on the hill
Another huge factor is the NCAA one time transfer rule that's expected to pass after the first of the year. If the Vols go 3-7 or worse ID expect a decent amount of transfers.
This is why I don’t think being a HC is hard. Hire awesome coordinators and sit back and solve problems.Sam Pittman has a beast staff though.

Problem is Fulmer seat rides with Jeremy too. I’m sure he knows he could get canned too if Jeremy is not the guy. He’s given him more than any coach here in a while and millions of dollars to spend. It would look terribly on him.As I said, their boosters came together last night and told their AD that no more money will be coming in as long as Muschamp is their coach.

Opted outI’m honestly not sure which coaches need to go outside Weinke.
WR room had huge turnover & Tee has brought in studs, but limited off season work and a game where no meaningful passes were called isn’t allowing us to see how good that group is.
Ultimately the offense looks terrible and it seems to be tied to Pruitt and/or Chaney. Because play calling and **** QB play has been then issue.
Also wtf is Gibbs? Wasn’t he supposed to be a stud WR or DB?
