I don’t doubt this at all bc one thing Pruitt has done is recruit (sans QB position but I still believe in Bailey).

I mean he hasn’t killed it on the trail but with out on-field results I think he’s done pretty good.

In a dream scenario of hiring Freeze - he’d immediately have talent to work with. I know we haven’t seen many of the young guys so that could be a premature statement but still.

He’d be walking into the best first year HC situation of any of the hires UT has made.

Our standards are getting lower and lower. We have a guy who hasn't won anything of note and who has gotten blown out by our rivals every time he's played them, whose team is getting WORSE in year 3, and he's not even on the hot seat yet.

This. Our team has better young talent than when Pruitt arrived. Another coach wouldn’t have a completely empty cupboard.

Playing devils advocate for Pruitt in this scenario.....

I don’t doubt his ability to scheme for an opponent defensively so if he were to take back full control of the defense and hire an OC that’s more modern/spread... i feel ok with us bouncing back and having a solid year next year.

First of all, I like coach Pruitt. He's doing the best he can. Unfortunately, the job is too big for him. He wasn't ready for this job. He was doomed from the start. I think he is starting to realize this. He's knows he's done. You can see it in his poss st game press conferences. He's waiting do or the inevitable. Probably about 13 months from now. He's ready to get back to a stable of thoroughbreds.

With that being said I think you could get him for a decent price (help with buyouts) with heavy incentives and more pay a pay increase each year.

You and the other boosters need to start the movement to get this idiot out of here. Getting new coordinators is a waste of time. How have y’all not learned that by now? Didn’t work for Dooley. Didn’t work for butch. And it sure isn’t going to work for this clown.
