Everyone just needs to stop already. Pruitt is here through 2021 at least. We have zero choice. It doesn’t matter what we come on here and say. Pruitt is the head coach. All we can do is hope somehow he improves.

If you really want to put pressure on the University to change AD or HC, write letters and use social media to apply pressure to the corporate sponsors. Threaten to stop doing business as long nothing changes. All those commercials and "official such and such of UT Vols" are the only group capable of making enough noise to be heard.
But be careful what you wish for, UT will not hire anyone proven.

IDK, they are normally pretty level headed over on Rocky Top Talk and this is their take today. It’s time to start thinking about an exit strategy for Jeremy Pruitt and his staff The already elevated temperature is going to go through the roof if Texas A&M runs us out of the stadium, which at this point appears not only possible, but likely.

If he finishes 2-8 he will be in trouble this year, they will Auburn him and fire him with cause for not going through the proper channels to fire an assistant

His buyout is 12M. At $25 a pop, we will need 480,000 donations. Color me a skeptic.

I don’t think this is accurate whatsoever, Pruitt isn’t getting blown out the rest of the year maybe besides Vandy and keeping the job. If his team is actually competitive then yes he gets a short leash in 2021. I don’t think the boosters hold on to Pruitt too long like they did Butch, that’s how you lose better options at potential coaches. Just my opinion, probably way off since it is using common sense.

He didn't have the schools blessing to fire the DL coach, costing the school 1 mil in buyout money. That's enough to fire him with cause

I go back to '65. Family had tickets from that point until I took 'em over. I had season tix and donated for 35 years including the terrace. Hung in there through Kiffin, Dooley and 2 years of butch. Haven't given a dime since then. I suspect I'm not alone. There comes a time when you refuse to reward poor choices. I...and others...have reached that point. Good luck with your fund raising.

If he really didn't have Fulmer's blessing, this would put him in violation of his duties. We probably should have terminated him immediately if that were the case, though.

Plus firing a coach for cause burns a program more than they save. We are already they place that fired a coach with .750 winning percentage a year after a division championship. The only way you get people willing to come here is they know if they get fired they are made for life. We can't be a place that has both strikes against us. Pretty much all coaches are Jimmy Sexton clients, he'll get his revenge.

He's not capable of improving us..He's got a ton of talent around hi right now and he has no clue what to do with them....He's a dead man walking...UT may not have a choice.
