We think it’s bad now... wait until we lose to TXAM FL and AUB by 20+ how is that defendable considering we have Ls to UK and Ark? Then we play Vandy with and uninspired football team and either lose or it’s a nail biter. That’s Butch Jones last season equivalent.

Florida very well may deliver the coup de grace on Pruitt's tenure.

No, best spot is head coach. He's the best we can do in terms of a sure thing to at least field competitive teams again and occasionally upset our rivals. Pruitt would just handcuff him anyway and his record is too good at Liberty right now to be a coordinator anywhere.
Hugh would be a good hire, which is why it probably doesn't happen

That would be stellar, but there are some HC spots for coaches like Fuente, even if he doesn’t make it at VTech. G5 jobs that can develop what talent they get and happy with 7-9 win seasons.
At this point I would be happy with that, if we looked competitive in the big games.

Does anyone at UT care about winning?

Fulmer wants to win but isn't with the times and probably holds too many grudges and just general pettiness to make the correct and obvious hire. And if he's not making the hire, the Haslams will make another horrible choice based on someone Jimmy met and really liked 5 years ago with the Browns.

Fans alone could raise it not to mention boosters. Let's be honest, if you attend a UT game in a typical normal year, you're spending well over 100 bucks before the day is done. So 100k fans would rather continue spending the same amount to watch the same old ******** than to turn the corner? Hmm.
I’ll donate my $100 to the cause. Start a go fund me

Well, after last night, I am now casting doubt on this staff. Complete collapse again in the second half.
3rd quarters have been atrocious all around. Much like concerns I had with our situational football last year (terrible RZ offense and 3rd down defense), this seems to come back to coaching.

Other teams are adjusting and we go backwards. Granted, not their fault JG got injured and went out...but the Plan B was god awful and defense was terrible all quarter.

Lol that beanie too big for cornbread head
Just to be clear, I was on board till I saw a complete and total coaching kerfuffle against Vandy South. Still wish him success, but writing is on the wall.

Losing is one thing. Not being competitive with the worst teams in SEC, is a joke and completely unacceptable.

He would be down the list. Cincinnati and UCF seem to win no matter who the coach is. I think we need a proven winner in the SEC.
A proven SEC HC? Or a coordinator?

I honestly can't think of any HC that both exists and would come here rn. Talking a coach that has at least won their division in the SEC. There's basically Saban, Kirby, Mullen (probably will this year), ...Gus?, ...Les Miles, Urban, Pinkel.

Think that may have been the last winner too. He was a great contestant. Most are so humble when they win, but he was jumping around like a kid. Can't believe thay was just the other day and Alex looked himself. This one sucks for my wife and I. Huge fans of the show but particularly him.
