Much like my thoughts on Mullen, I think I’d just throw some money at Mark Stoops. Get a good coach in here. Everything else will fall in line.

What is Freeze’s connection with UT? I understand he coached at Briarcrest and has ties to Mississippi schools. Did he grow up a Tennessee fan?

VT is not just an incredible place to coach at.. But even then, Fuente has underachieved there.

Coupled with the fact Memphis is clearly doing something right. They have been just fine since he left there. It seems no matter who their coach is they do well.

Pat Fitzgerald is 3-0 at Northwestern with wins over Maryland, Iowa, and Nebraska. They picked up Peyton Ramsey who started for Indiana against UT in the Taxslayer bowl. I am not saying this is someone we should hire, but I am saying that we should have kicked the tires on Peyton Ramsey.

The other way to look at this is that Pruitt too has a top class coming in with a QB that looks legit. Could he help lead the turnaround?

All it takes is landing that QB and it solves a lot of issues.

What if Pruitt leaves and Salter goes somewhere else and turns into a flat stud!

Who knows.

From what ive read though Salter isn't a day one guy, he's going to need at least a year. I believe @butchna has watched him quite a bit this year.

I hope our VFLs are in the ear of their former coach. I’m sick of this ineptitude and so are the former players. I can only pray that Fulmer develops the backbone to make the decision sooner. We waited too long with Dooley and Butch.

Interesting we haven’t heard from our insiders. They must know the pitchforks and torches are ready to be lit. We have one winnable game left on schedule and if we play like we did yesterday we will lose to Vandy. There is enough young talent on roster for Hugh Freeze to have a decent team his first year. The garbage is in our junior and senior classes.

I wouldn't mind seeing the entire football program scorched. Its full of losers. Start new and build from there. Fire everyone including the loser bagmen and loser AD/coaches.

Also would like to hire a proven HC that I didn't have to Google.
Kiffen Dooley butch and Pruitt we unproven experiments. Get a HC thats proven .
