Only way I can figure it is that in 2008 they all voted for the black man out of guilt and stupidity, as well as raising their virtue signal status to legendary.
After seeing how bad it was they all jumped for joy to elect an old white man again (Hillary wasn't man enough).
seems to go against everything they say publicly, but then again, they have done everything they claim Trump has done for 4 yrs.

I'm still working on figuring out their end game or what comes next....I'm just not diabolical enough to work the problem out.

I disagree. I think Obama won on his message and he was energetic. Plus, the country was ready for change after eight years of Bush. McCain never even had a shot, but it was "his turn."

I think his race did help him raise the numbers, but I'm not putting "white guilt" as a cause of him being elected.
