2020 Presidential Race

Trump inciting violence already.

Here. We. Go.

"The Supreme Court decision on voting in Pennsylvania is a VERY dangerous one," Trump tweeted. "It will allow rampant and unchecked cheating and will undermine our entire systems of laws. It will also induce violence in the streets. Something must be done!"

Envy? Hardly. I am perfectly happy with my life. The truth hurts sometimes. No one made it impossible to manufacture here. You can absolutely make money manufacturing in the U.S. It's when greed takes over that it becomes difficult because more profit becomes the ONLY objective.
That’s not true at all.... have you ever run a manufacturing company.....when you can produce what you are selling much cheaper..... any smart business man takes the better deal.

I don't follow Trump on Twitter. Is this from this morning?

Will Trump declare himself the winner of Pennsylvania by day's end?

If you support this, you do not support our Democratic Republic.

"And as polls show him consistently trailing Democratic nominee Joe Biden, Mr. Trump is advertising his hopes to have the courts, and eventually recently installed Justice Amy Coney Barrett and her colleagues on the Supreme Court, rescue him. Mr. Trump will do better among in-person voters than in the mailed ballots; some states will not count the mailed ballots until after the in-person votes, so he may try to declare himself a winner before all those mailed ballots can be counted.

We’re going to go in the night of, as soon as that election is over, we’re going in with our lawyers,” Mr. Trump said Sunday in Charlotte, signaling an aggressive legal strategy to try to prevent Pennsylvania from counting mailed ballots that are received in the days after the election. He is speciously insisting that votes must be “counted, tabulated, finished” by Tuesday evening. Of course we’d all like results as soon as possible. But what is paramount in our democracy is not any artificial deadline but that every vote be counted. And by the way — if Pennsylvania is among the late-reporting states this year, you can blame Mr. Trump and his Republican allies in the state legislature, who thwarted efforts for timely processing of mail-in ballots. Now Mr. Trump wants to present the delays he is responsible for as an indication of fraud.

All absentee / mail in ballots should be received prior to the Nov 3rd election day. Then counted on election day.
Similar to early voting. There's no reason to drag these things out for several days. No matter the winner or loser.

By your logic, if you mail in your federal taxes on April 15th, the federal government should penalize you when they receive them after the deadline.

WTH are you rambling about. That's' a terrible analogy.

How so? If you mail in your federal taxes on or before April 15th, are you penalized when it arrives after the 15th? Of course not.

And, oh BTW, this issue has already been decided by the SCOTUS, so you really need to get up to speed, bro.

The U.S. Supreme Court said Monday that election officials in Pennsylvania can count absentee ballots received as late as the Friday after Election Day so long as they are postmarked by Nov. 3.

I'm aware of the ruling, doesn't mean I have to agree with it. Why drag this thing out past the deadline. Everyone knows what the date is. Everyone's had time to make arrangements to vote. It's not like you found out on Thursday the deadline is Tuesday. You sound like the employee that shows up 10 mins late everyday and the rest of the crew should be thankful....well you did show up.
