They are starting JG after the bye... (this week's depth chart)

Was there ever any doubt?

In all honesty........deep down in my soul.....I was really hoping Pruitt was going to come out and say that Maurer or HB were really coming along and were the focus of the off week and that one of them impressed enough that they were going to get the nod. Maybe simplify the playcalling (not that it can be anymore vanilla) and let them have a little bit of trial by fire..........I'll always have the memories of the late 80's and 90's I guess, thank you Jesus that I at least have that and you are more than welcome to come back now (not that you need my permission).

I’ve gotten to a point that I trust Pruitt with every other position, except at quarterback now. I’m not knocking JG at all, but now I’ve come to that realization, that it’s time for a change. I’ve had faith in Pruitt from day one, and I still do, except at quarterback now. That’s is saying a lot from me, because most of you know I’m very optimistic when it comes to Pruitt. Every time that JG starts, I pull for him, but is is getting to be to much, and I can’t stand this gauntlet anymore. FOR GOODNESS SAKES, WHAT WILL IT TAKE FOR A NEW CHANGE? Does anyone trust Pruitt with every other position? I do!

The bad news is he can come back next year and be our starting QB.

Why not? He aint going to have anything else to do but go out and get a real job OR (typical Tennessee developement past few years) he'll get picked up on a practice squad and ball out and become Manning 2.0.

Could he possibly have post an old depth chart?

It would explain why JG is still starting and Hyatt is not listed on the two-deep at WR after his performance against Bama.

I'm also a BVS survivor, and I continue to harbor optimism despite the last decade.
It’s generic and old. About the same chart every week. They do not want to tip their hand to the other team if they have made changes

I’m not sure if he has a lot at stake. He will continue to be a millionaire coach here are a millionaire DC somewhere. Think about you a HC at a place you never liked during your college days. Things are going bad but your money is guaranteed no matter. Sometimes think it crosses his mind “wish I was back being a coordinator“ and get away from this bunch.

You're a fan. I'm a fan. Coaches don't think like fans. This is his career...he's a competitor. Failing on a national stage isn't something these guys, including Pruitt, are willing to endure.

If there's one thing I've learned about Pruitt it's that he's the most literal person in the world, JG is starting Saturday

Pruitt can’t see his decision at QB has taken his team from a contender that could have beat UGA In Athens to a team that got blown out by Kentucky in Knoxville.

This is on Pruitt. And Pruitt alone. Starting Guarantano was probably the worst decision I’ve ever seen a coach make. I think Pruitt has to go now after seeing this.

He may be content to fall back to a DC which he will get if he fails here. He is going to ride this gravy train as long as possible. It is 50/50 if he wants to build UT. Based in the Qb decisions , I guess he doesn’t care.

Well the starting QB wouldn't start at any Power 5 school in the country. BM and JT are on some kind of sh!t list. HB apparently isn't any good. So he doesn't have a QB
I think he would. Seen several worse. Apparently means different things to different people. Car stops moving and some would say “apparently it’s dead, let’s buy another one!”, others put gas in the car...

I think our DBs have underperformed. I think our OL has underperformed. I think our LBs have underperformed. Everyone wants to lay all the blame on JG, but this team has been undisciplined and very frankly has quit in games. That's a coach issue.

You folks are so easy to upset. Just a game, relax, your income most likely won't be affected, Christmas will still be 25 Dec.
And tomorrow is my birthday. Most consequential one of my life. You can come by in person to bring me a gift, or I will accept gifts for nine days after November 3rd.

Unfortunately this QB Driven game. There’s not one team with a ****** QB in the top 25.

After the second interception against Kentucky you could see the body language of the players on the field and it was obvious what they must have been feeling. Even Trey Smith admitted that he just stood there when he should have stayed in the play. I don't believe, despite what they say, that they have any faith in JG. And I don't have a lot of faith that they'll play the way they need to as long as they see Pruitt continuing to send JG out there. We could wait until he fumbles again or throws another interception and then make a change, but why bother? At this point, what more do we really need to see?
